For a 4 cylinder car it has great pick up speed when you put your foot on the accelerator. As a hatchback design, it has lots of flexible storage space for larger/longer items. I have driven the car for almost 8 years and put 47,000 miles on it. It's a superb car for general shopping and to and from work driving with a sporty feel at a lower price.
Story
Driving to Las Vegas with friends with the windows down playing the Oceans Eleven soundtrack with the windows open just as you come over the hill and see the strip, no traffic in front of us, just all of us in the car and Vegas in front.
Pros
The interior has a modern feel with basic accouterments like 5 disc CD player and an auxiliary port built into the center console for hooking up your phone for music. There is a hole that allows you to run the aux cable through to the center cup holders so. Gas mileage is good, as long as you are not in complete stop and go traffic, expect 26-28 mpg in mixed driving, and up to 30 mpg for full highway. As to keep the cables out of the way.
Cons
Gas mileage drops to about 21 mpg for full stop and go traffic. There do appear to be some electrical issues with sensors in the car as I had to get thermostat sensors replaced twice in 8 years.

I do love my Speed3. The color black was more boring that I would have liked. The tires that came stock are a poor choice, and I had to swap them out. I do like the handling, and feel the gears shift well (Unlike other cars I had looked at). The tech package was a nice add on, and I do enjoy having the built in GPS.
Story
Right after getting my car, I pulled up beside someone with a speed3. We raced, and a road that ended pretty quickly. I did blow him out of the water, but I think he was worried about running off the road. It was a pretty fun time.
Pros
Speed! Don't get me wrong, I would love a few extra HP, but for what it is, and the price I paid for it, I won't complain.
Cons
It's very basic looking. It could use some more curves and interesting materiel's on the inside.

My car has about 96k miles on it and has held up well. I have not noticed any sort of rattling or issues with the electrical and key system. This car is also good on gas and can save you money in the long run. Another key thing I like about this vehicle is that the interior is big enough to take your friends around in. The trunk space is decent and the rear chairs can fold over in case you need to fit something that is bigger than your trunk. To add on to this point, I am a skateboarder and can fit rails and small ramps inside this car. The stock sound system is decent as well and you can adjust different sound settings to match what you want. I have not had any problems with the lights or have run into any annoying issues yet besides just doing basic maintenance such as oil chances an... (more)
Story
This car has a lot of history in terms of skateboarding. It has taken me and my friends on numerous trips to the most fun places to skate. We would get tricks and get back in the car before the cops arrived at the spots we were skating and high-tail it out of there! Good times and they are still going.
Pros
My favorite feature of this vehicle is the space on the interior and the trunk. We all love space, but for someone who is a first timer, this would do them well. Another thing I love about this vehicle is its Bluetooth and mp3 aux cable input so you can listen to music on your phone.
Cons
There is only one negative I can see with this car, and it's the visibility. As mentioned earlier, it could be hard to see when you are making right or left turns so you really need to get up and look around versus some vehicles you just move your head, and you can see oncoming traffic. It is not a huge hassle but is definitely something that can get on your nerves.
