When I first test drove the vehicle I noticed automatically how fast it was and how easily maneuverable the car was. The salesman showed me each feature of the car and I thoroughly enjoyed testing out each one. One thing that really caught my eye was the Heads Up Display, which showed the speed at which you were driving as well as how many car lengths you were behind the vehicle in front of you. I love how gas efficient the car is. If I set cruise control to the speed limit and let the car perform on it's own, I can average up to 40 miles per gallon. No other car I've owned has ever been able to give me that many miles per gallon and I was quite impressed. I also like that the car is a 2016 top safety pick. It is a MUST for me and my growing family to be traveling in a safe and reliabl... (more)
Story
While driving through the mountains at night, I noticed that the headlights would turn with the curvature of the roads and adjust themselves the turns I was making. It made the drive up feel like I was in the middle of a speed race and it was awesome to be able to experience driving like that.
Pros
The gas mileage cannot be beaten and with California gas prices the way they were when I first leased the vehicle, this was definitely a pleasant surprise. I love the heads up display, as it keeps my eyes on my speed without having to constantly look down at my speedometer to try and see how fast I am going. The city smart braking system and backup cameras are also great additional features of the vehicle. If for some reason I am getting too close to a vehicle and am unable to engage the brakes in time, the car will automatically do it for me. The backup camera beeps if there is an obstruc... (more)
Cons
The air conditioning could be a little bit stronger, as I am in an area where the summers are a scorcher. The navigation system is top of the line but it only enables you to do certain things when the car is in motion, making it aggravating if I need to change something if I get lost. I don't want to have to constantly pull over if I need to adjust something to my route. The Bluetooth doesn't always automatically sync with my iPhone and that can be frustrating at times. For a 2016 vehicle I am surprised that there is only a single disc player rather than a multiple disc player. Overall, th... (more)

I like the sporty look of the car. My car is dark blue and has a smooth look to it as I drive. The transmission is smooth as I shift gears and there is no grinding sound to be heard. The turn radius of the car is great, I'm able to make tight turns in small alleys that allow me to maneuver around quite easily. I've put 10,000 miles on in 3 months and the engine has remained clean and the car still looks great. I have not taken excellent care of my car either. The cloth interior looks sporty and the leather wheel allows for great control and gripability. There is adequate space in the back of the cabin which allows me to transport all of my friends around because their cars are too small. The touch screen is useful especially the backup camera as it gives me a 360 degree view around my ... (more)
Story
I had never received a speeding ticket in 9 years of driving. I had this car one month and I was driving on the road to the Grand Canyon, which is a two lane road with nobody on it. I got caught speeding by going too fast. It was my mistake but the car has great pickup.
Pros
The top thing about this car was the price, but also that it's very smooth in the transition from gear to gear. To me that is one of the most important things about a car. My favorite feature is the Bluetooth capability which allows me to talk.
Cons
I do not like that the back windshield is a bit small. It is hard to see sometimes when backing up.

The care is very reliable and absolutely love the turning radius when in tight spots. It's easy to handle and fun to drive. The convertible top is a gem. The best part of the experience of the Miata is driving with the convertible top down. While being on a tight budget I feel the affordability of the car and the cost of gas to fill it up is absolutely wonderful. If you like riding with the wind blowing through your hair this is the car!
Story
When I first got the car it was Winter. I loved driving the car so much I donned my leather jacked, put the convertible top down and put the heater on. IT WAS FUN!
Pros
Size, gas for the 10 gal tank, the rotary engine and comfort and ease
Cons
Not all people can fit in the car. The truck is very small so you can't carry much. The convertible top gaskets need to be replaced if you use the convertible top frequently.
