Sturdy and dependable!
This car is the first car I ever bought and still one of my favorites! It's not too large for a passenger sedan, yet still manages to have ample room for both driver and passengers! It feels nothing but smooth on the climb from 0 to 60, within a fairly quick four seconds! Despite a few electrical problems and the stock radiator hose, this car handles like an absolute dream. Whenever I brought it into the shop, it was simply for tune-ups and oil changes. No smoking transmissions or exploding engines here! Like I said before, it has a few problems, but nothing that can't be fixed by those with a passing knowledge of cars. No other car I've ever driven just feels so stuck onto the road and grounded as this. I've taken a lot of spine-tingling turns in this car (maybe a little faster than I should have), and I never felt the fear of this car tipping over. It's weight is a very big bonus! All-in-all, if you're looking for an attractive, dependable, affordable sedan, you can't go far wrong with the Mercury Sable!

Solid vehicle
The Mercury Sable feels like a safe car on the road. With its strong metal frame and long body, I feel as though I run a lower risk on being hurt should I be involved in a car crash. The mileage is also fantastic, while the actual tank is small the car itself doesn't use up a ton of gas. I definitely would recommend it, especially for new or young drivers. The car has great visibility, so it would put a new driver at ease. Not to mention that it's a sturdy car, so it performs well on rainy, windy days.
