Even though this 350z is over ten years old now, it still runs like a champ! It has maintained its power over the years and is still a lot of fun. One of the few things I don't particularly care for is the tire noise. I recently took it to a car show and had the opportunity to take the car down a drag strip and did not worry for a second about the reliability of the car going down the track and getting me home that evening.
Story
Recently, I had the opportunity to take this car out on the track and it did not disappoint. I was able to get it up to around 90 mph on a quarter mile. It was also fun to show it off at a car show.
Pros
One of my favorite things about the vehicle is how, even though it is over a decade old, it still turns heads due to its timeless design. I love the way it handles around turns. Like most Nissans, the steering wheel is heavy and demands the drivers input. I personally like that it is only a two seater and there is no back seat. I also really enjoy the practicalities as well, like the climate control.
Cons
Really there are very little cons to this car. One is the tire noise. The other would have to be that you can only give it premium gasoline. But that is to be expected with a sports car. I would like for it to have a normal glove box on the passenger side, but the little cubbies behind the passenger and driver suffice.

The Nissan 350Z was a great sports car for the cost. It was extremely well balanced and felt very planted on the road as well as on the track. While it was good in dry weather, it could be a nightmare in wet and cold conditions.
Story
I took the car up to the north Georgia mountains to drive around the curves. The car handled well on US-19.
Pros
Balanced sports car that was fun to drive. It did not break the bank. My favorite feature was the speed sensitive steering that made it easier to turn the wheel when moving slower, while at higher speeds, the wheel feels more solid. This inspired confidence when cornering the vehicle.
Cons
It was not very good in cold or wet conditions. Also, when doing maintenance, the oil filter is sideways rather than vertical. This results in oil spilling everywhere when changing the oil. Also, the trunk space was extremely limited by the cross member going through the trunk. This could have been eliminated while still keeping the car's rigidity. Also, the car felt a bit underpowered at times. This could be fixed by changing the vehicles gearing.
