The 2013 Nissan Sentra SL with the optional technology package provides an excellent bang for your buck. If you're going to be transporting passengers or cargo, this vehicle provides best-in-class cargo space and best-in-class headroom and leg-room for passengers. My family of five fits into the vehicle with little trouble. The ride is as smooth as one can expect for a vehicle in this class. Road noise is minimal, but the car can be unforgiving on potholes and speed bumps. This is an opinion, but the Nissan is not the most beautiful small sedan. If you're looking for a sporty, modern appearance there are better options such as the Ford Focus. This is a car that you buy for practicality. I bought this car new in 2009, have driven it for over 6 years, and have put 140,000 miles on it. It has gotten me through 2 colleges, 4 jobs, and 2 relationships. It still runs very well and I have no intentions of trading any time soon. This car is very good quality for the price. It seems like it will last forever.
Story
Many road trips have been taken in this car.
Pros
This car is very roomy. It looks small from the outside but has lots of room inside. I can put a full day of Black Friday shopping in the trunk and back seat. I haven't had much trouble with this car mechanically. The interior of this car is very good quality. Never had a tears in seats or carpet. Very good car for commuting to work or school. Runs very well in the snow, and I love the way the continuously shifting transmission works. It is very well made.
Cons
I have had to replace the ENTIRE exhaust system TWICE because the one piece rusts often and you can't buy just the one part. I have problems with the locks on the door. I have read that others have had this problem and it comes from the mechanisms in the door. Sometimes they lock, sometimes they don't - sometimes they unlock, sometimes they don't. In this case you have to manually lock and unlock the doors.
