My 2002 Subaru Legacy is overall a great and reliable car. I have owned this car for four years and I have yet to find something I dislike about it!
Story
The first time it snowed after getting my car I was extremely nervous to drive to work before my road had been plowed out. After making it down the road and onto a main street, I was confident that my car would keep me safe and I would make it ok! It really helped to boost my confidence as a driver.
Pros
Subaru is a car company that is known for making vehicles that last and hold their value. This is extremely true of this car. This model is a sedan, but the exterior has the trim of the off-road Outback line of vehicles. The two-toned paint and trim combination makes for a unique looking vehicle (and one that is always easy to find in a crowded parking lot!) On the inside, the leather seats make for easy cleaning and maintenance, as well as comfort for all passengers. The vehicle's aesthetic is sure to appeal to anyone seeking a car that stands out from the rest! When it comes to maintena... (more)
Cons
The only thing that really comes to mind is the rattling of the heat casing. From everything that I have heard... this is a common problem with Subaru cars and is only cosmetic. It is annoying but nothing that would deter me from recommending this vehicle.

It's a Subaru, a snow beast on the outside, a comfortable easy to drive coupe on the inside.. The GT Limited trim gives it a power moon roof, leather interior, half decent sound system, raised spoiler with integrated LED brake light bar. This is my sixth Subaru in 20 years, the fourth one to get over 200,000 miles.
Pros
It's all wheel drive, all the time. Subaru has an awesome drivetrain that just works...forever. The all-weather package is great for winter weather; heated seats, heated mirrors, and heated windshield. It's got 200,000 miles and still gets 30+ mpg on highway drives.
Cons
The AWD system is tough on tires. They have to be rotated regularly and will generally wear out faster than a 2wd car. She's starting to rust a bit. If she is maintained properly, she will run for a long long time, but, maintenance is not cheap. I have a 4-speed automatic--not the best transmission in the world.
