This vehicle is an excellent choice for those who live in climates that get snow and have a family, but still want something fun to drive. The car's performance is on pay with those costing much more, and the styling is subtle but sporty.
Story
The vehicle has taken me through many long commutes, whizzing past others who had found themselves off the size of the road in their large trucks and suvs while the little Subaru took me safely to and from work over an 80 mole round trip commute.
Pros
The car is good looking for a mid size sedan. It has excellent comfort options, including automatic climate control and 4 position heated seating. The turbocharged engine and 6 speed manual make for excellent acceleration, and all wheel drive rounds out the car for amazing handling and winter stability. The car returns about 23 mpg, while requiring little by way of upkeep, over 100,000 miles, I've only replaced the brakes once, and all other fluids as scheduled for routine maintenance. Costs for service have been very reasonable. Given the all wheel drive, the car has always felt ext... (more)
Cons
Space is a little limited compared to other cars in the class, both in the backseat and the trunk. The car has not worn as well as some others at its age, although the major interior components like door panels and seat upholstery remain in good condition. An all wheel drive car can wear through tires rather quickly, which can add to cost of ownership. The vehicle styling could be considered as too subtle. A little more aggression in the styling would be nice, even though I prefer subtle, this car is maybe a bit too subtle.

The car handles well and has enough space for a family. The cars styling is unique too the Make of the car, standing our from other imports. The look of the car is a little bulky and could have a sleeker look. The space is very comfortable an is one of the main highlights of the vehicle. The room available allows for you to take the family camping for the weekend. There are a few blinds spots on the vehicle but not unlike other vehicles. The vehicle does have some weird mechanical noises but only once and a while. The vehicle was not in the shop recently. The repair costs are fair as long as their taken to a trustworthy mechanic. Gas mileage is pretty decent. The car is fun to drive, it reminds me of my old much faster VW gti but with a back end and awd. The acceleration is a major dow... (more)
