Very nice AWD sedan
The Subaru Legacy 3.6R really shines as vehicle that sits between the typical family sedans like the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry and higher performance sedans like the Audi A4 and BMW 3 series. While the six cylinder provides typical performance for its class, the fact that it is a flat six gives it a much lower center of balance than one would expect. When this is combined with the excellent AWD system, it gives an above average driving experience for people who like to drive, but who don't want to spend the money on a higher end vehicle. The 5 speed automatic transmission is acceptable, but it comes with a huge advantage over other AWD vehicles, including Subarus. It has a default torque split of 45% front and 55% rear, which gives a slight RWD drive bias. This really gives a nice driving feel for those who like the capabilities of RWD vehicles, while providing the safety and performance of AWD. The only real sticking point is the interior design. The dash is hard plastic, but it is not the end of the world since the other cars in this segment also use hard plastic. Also, the manual door lock on the door moves in the opposite direction from the power door lock button on the arm rest. Again, not a huge deal, but it is not the best ergonomic decision. I believe both of these issues have been remedied on later models. The exterior styling is typical for cars in its class - not the best and not the worst. What more can I say? I love the car, and I enjoy driving it every day.

It's a great car, and it's very financially friendly
It's a back sendom vehicle with cool look outside and great value in the case of gas expenses. It's also a AWD car which is safe to drive at winter.
