Perfect For Winter
We purchased this vehicle because at the time we lived in an area with heavy snowfall in the winters. The day after we purchased it we woke up to three feet of snow! This car handled it like a champ... even without any special winter tires. While people were sliding off into ditches, I was trucking along in my trusty Subaru like it was a walk in the park. We have never had any issues dealing with snow or "off road" conditions. We did encounter the dreaded head gasket issue this generation of Subaru's is known for, however we think it was due to our mechanic using a non-Subaru specific thermostat which lead to overheating. After getting the repairs done we have had no other issues. My husband loves that he can feel comfortable with me on long driving trips by myself without fear of being stranded on the side of the road. It's decent on gas, fits 5 people comfortably if needed, and has plenty of cargo space in the trunk. What more could we ask for!

A great car for adventuring and weather!
I have the Subaru legacy four-door sedan and have been driving it for the past four years. I love this car and it has driven me all over the northwest of the united states. I drive approximately fifteen to twenty thousand miles per year on this car and it has done wonderful through all sorts of weather and terrain! This would definitely be a car that I would consider purchasing again.
