2010 Toyota Tundra. I purchased the vehicle to tow a recreational vehicle. This truck is everything I wanted in a truck. I have previously owned a Ford and a Chevrolet truck, and the Toyota truck out performs both. There are no extras on the vehicle however the 5.7 engine and heavy suspension are extremely reliable. I would definitely purchase another Toyota truck. This is the best truck I have ever owned, and I have owned many throughout my years. I have had the vehicle over seven years now, and the reliability is without comparison. The Toyota brand does not make a separate 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton truck. The 5.7 engine and lower rear transmission adds to the towing capacity.
Story
I call the truck "the Beast." I have friends who also tow recreational vehicles. My truck can tow in the mountains or straight runs with ease. The Chevrolet and the Ford have both had issues towing.
Pros
The ride is comfortable. The vehicle has a heavy suspension and great towing power. The vehicle is seven years old, and the paint and body are as good as the day I purchased the vehicle.
Cons
The only negative aspect to the Toyota Tundra is the gas mileage and smaller gasoline tank. The engine with the low torque rear end allows the great towing range, however the mileage per gallon of gasoline is affected. The power will give the driver whiplash when accelerating. This is not a good thing when the owner is older.

We own a 2010 Tundra. Toyota really stepped up on this truck. The interior is very practical. Has a very functional design. Console is easy to use when driving. Seats are large enough to handle a large man. We opted for the crew max cab. The back cab is very large and has enough room for kids and all of their gear. The V8 engine really performs well. The accelerator is a tad touchy - takes a very light foot.
Story
We received the truck just days before our 15th wedding anniversary. it was an anniversary gift to us. We did take it on a long weekend out of the city.
Pros
Even for a taller truck the seats are very easy to get into. Crew Max cab also has plenty of room in the back. Seats in the back are fully adjustable. Can move back or forward depending on what use you need. Console is easy to use and not cumbersome.
Cons
Wish that the on-wheel controls were a standard feature. Back bumpers could be a little more sturdy. Seems really light weight and easily dented.
