As usual Toyota does not disappoint. It is a quality vehicle through and through. The attention to detail is unmatchable. The engineering is the best. The power train is strong and the interior is comfortable. The fuel economy is manageable.
Story
When I first bought it, it was the talk of the town. I had many people stop me and ask questions about how I liked it etc.
Pros
Interior, fuel economy, design, engineering, quality, paint.
Cons
Cost, tires, size of bed

I have owned my Toyota Tundra for 8 months and so far I love this vehicle. I have always driven Ford trucks and have been satisfied with them. I switched to the Toyota this time because a fishing buddy of mine has a Tacoma. We have taken several trips in his Tacoma and I liked the way it handled and rode. I also like the sporty looks. I had intended to buy a Tacoma, but when I got to the dealership I decided to drive both the tundra and the Tacoma. Once I drove the Tundra I was sold. The handling and acceleration were outstanding, The seats are very comfortable which is important to me since I have a bad back that makes it uncomfortable for me to sit very long. I like how the truck sits up and the visibility around the truck is excellent. I think the Tundra is the most stylish truck on... (more)
Story
Soon after I got my truck when I pulled in the grocery story there was a truck identical to mine parked about where I usually park. I parked right be side my twin truck and went into the store. When I can out there was a third identical truck parked next to mine. One of the other owners and I struck up a conversation and realized that we were both in the same business.
Pros
I love the ride of this truck. The cab is quiet and the steering is responsive compared to other trucks I have driven. It has tons of power. I really like the styling and get comments where ever I go. The interior is very comfortable and the gauges are easy to monitor. The bed lining and tie downs are well designed and functional.
Cons
The only thing I do no like about the Tundra is the fuel mileage. I traded in a pretty fuel efficient truck and am now hurting at the gas pump with fuel prices around $4.00 Per gallon. I have the 4.6L engine and keep very close tabs on my fuel economy. I was getting under 15 MPG during the winter with 4 wheel drive and lots of snow and ice. Once the summer fuel blend hit and I added a cap my MPG jumped 1.6 MPG.
