The VW CC is a classy car right off the showroom floor. It gets a lot of looks driving around. So much so in fact, when I saw it on the street for the first time, I said, "What is that?" I wanted one instantly. It was only three days before I purchased one myself. People also assume it is in a much higher class of car than what VW intended. The subtlety of the car keeps it under the radar yet has plenty of power when you want to stretch your legs. The smooth swooping lines and clean tucked rear end really speaks volumes in luxurious design talent.
Story
It was interesting trying to fit a gigantic car seat in the back. It fit and my girlfriend and I went out for a fun day at the park without a hitch. Though she was crammed all the way forward, it was a good laugh.
Pros
The elegant silver paint caressed the well laid edges and swoops ever so gently. The car looks like it goes for 80,000 dollars. I loved that it was turbo charged. The car is very sporty, yet composed and dignified at the same time. The interior was very nicely put together with beautiful stitching.
Cons
The seats were rather firm and despite being reassured that they would soften, they never felt supple. It was difficult to find a comfortable position for long drives because the door and center console parts were hard where your knee rests.

My experience with my VW CC has been terrible. I am the first one in my family to purchase a VW. However, I have come to deeply regret it. It's safe to say that I will never purchase another VW again. Details on performance are listed below.
Story
I enjoyed going on late night drives with the windows down and the music blaring.
Pros
I purchased the CC Sport because of its reputation and its look. The inside presentation of the car was also appealing. The leather seats, the 2 tone color scheme, the in-dash entertainment system, are all things that initially lured me in. Initially the car ran really smooth, had a nice pick-up, and was pretty gas efficient. My friends were very impressed with my car and I even took it on a few long road trips without any issues.
Cons
After driving the car for 6 months, I began to notice small problems here and there. For example, various “error” lights would begin turning on, even though the car had nothing wrong with it. The tire pressure lights would also turn on even though the tire pressure was adequate. Also, after a year of ownership, the “cam-chain” of my car broke. I spent nearly $2000 to get it fixed after which it was revealed that the issue may have been with a defective part.
