2010 Volkswagen CC - Fun to drive VW
I have owned my VW CC for many years now and have loved this car from day one. I like the exterior finish and that the body is built with solid metal. The frame is solid, and the doors have a good heft to them. I really like the feeling of safety that I have whenever I drive my car. I have owned big trucks before and never had that kind of feeling of safety like in this sports sedan. The sound system is also a bonus. I love the boom in the bass and the highs of the tweeters. It has full surround sound for the back seat and front seat. I can't really say anything I don't like about it whenever everything is working great.
Story
Going on vacation with my sweetheart was one of the most memorable experience in this vehicle. We went down to the beach and had such a great time.
Pros
My first pro would be the safety features. Secondly, I really like the surround sound system. Thirdly, the seating is fairly comfortable. I have driven on many road trips for long distances in this vehicle and have had no problems with comfortability. The body design is unique and different than your average sedan. This vehicle has stood the test of time with over 120,000 miles on it and hasn't had to have too many trips to the shop.
Cons
My first con would have to be the oil. The oil burns faster since the vehicle is turbo charged. The other things are usual wear and tear, but the suspension has worn down pretty bad to where the ride is quite rough and a bit crunchy in the front, and I have had to have a few things replaced. These things include the radiator pump and the PCV.
2010 Volkswagen CC - A little bulky, but great room.
Low profile tires are great for getting those great speeds. The car overall has been decent in size and performance. The interior height is good for my boyfriend who is 6'4", although he has to lean down to see the light when at a stop. We have had 2 adults and 2 children fit comfortably. The braking system has definitely been tested and works really well, and the turbo charged engine really gets up and goes. We've owned this vehicle for 3 years and have given a go with 108,000 miles, some acquired on a trip from Dallas to South Padre. Buying the upgrades in most cars are well worth the money spent. This car was previously owned and had only a few upgrades. The speakers did not last long.
Story
Getiing onto the highway and merging into traffic with the turbo has been a kick.
Pros
The adjustable seats come in handy between my boyfriend and I as drivers. The side lights that come on during turning are a feature I quickly got used to and noticed the difference when driving other vehicles.
Cons
All dogs love a car ride with their tongue hanging out the side. The backseat is too small for our German Shepherd. Trying to get good gas mileage only happens if driving below the speed limit on the highway. Small town driving would be ideal for best gas mileage. Onto the next, the turbo really gives a bang for buck but not for the gas mileage. Also, the car requires only premium fuel. The check engine light keeps coming on. When checked, it gets more and more expensive. At this point it has been more than what we paid for the car used.
