I love this car. When my husband & I got married & I saw what he was driving, I was initially skeptical, it's so compact! Where's the space? Turns out I had nothing to be nervous about. The Rabbit has enough space (& I know from experience) for myself, my husband (a man over 6 ft tall), a dog, and 6 heavy duty suitcases. Perfect for all of the road trips we take. The maneuverability is also top notch. We've driven it across the states and overseas and it has the most amazing turning radius. I am never worried we won't find a spot, even the smallest compact spots leave us with plenty of room. The sound system is terrific, the air conditioning just won't quit and the interior is comfortable and spacious. It's got great gas mileage for all those long trips and any time anyone asks for a c... (more)
Story
I'm used to driving a much longer, less maneuverable car and was driving into town for lunch. The parking lot was packed, there was only one spot at the back and it was so tight, I was getting a panic attack just looking at it, but then I remembered that I was in our Volkswagen Rabbit, not my old car. I pulled into the spot, no problem. No anxiety, no driving around for 20 minutes desperately ... (more)
Pros
The turn radius, the trunk/storage space, the compact size, it's comfortable, it's affordable and it drives like a dream.
Cons
We don't have a second one.

The 2007 VW Rabbit is one real underdog of a car. Although it isn't the flashiest car around, it happens to be one of the safest hatchbacks for its year. It is equipped with airbags all over the car. It is extremely quick and fun to drive. It literally bounces while you're driving on the road. Lower the car about 2 inches and it's even more fun to drive. The trunk space is the best part of the car. The back seats fold down completely so that a grown adult can sleep in it. It can also fit surfboards and bikes no problem. The front and rear bumper are customizable so that you're able to modify the car to your liking. Throw in some snazzy wheels, a tint job, and side skirts, and you'll have the ladies looking at you like you was George Clooney. The gas mileage is great, and so are the sim... (more)
Story
At least once a week while driving my car, I have someone pull up beside me and give me a thumbs up, letting me know that they like my car.
Pros
Triptonic shift system. Fast acceleration. Bumpy rides. Being able to be modified.
Cons
It is only 2-doors. Too many girls giving you their numbers.
