Volvo S60 R Owner Ratings & Reviews

2004 Volvo S60 R - love that five cylinder sound
Almost 300 HP in a car, how can you not have fun? I owned a 2004 Volvo S60R for seven years. It was silver with an orange interior, one of the most beautiful interior color combinations I have seen. The sound this car makes is unreal! The crystal blue gauge cluster looks spectacular and all equipped with a six-speed manual in one of the safest cars built. No maintenance nightmares over the period of 87,000 miles and I gave it to my son when he went off to college, still going strong!
Story
Driving to my parents house for the holidays in up stat New York, road tripping is easy in this car.
Pros
Safe, reliable, great sounding exhaust, gorgeous interior.
Cons
Little noises in the interior, creaking and squeaking.
2006 Volvo S60 R -
Love it - a hot rod but a EURO sedan. VOLVO P2R - not for the faint of heart when it comes to the maintenance! I love everything about the car - the 4 C suspension included. My only knock is the maintenance costs - but AFTER you get it right - IT IS WORTH IT!
Story
Beating FAR more expensive cars off the line and around town. Going fast. Having fun with the sunroof open!
Pros
300HP. Good handling. Fast and unassuming. Fuel efficient for a 300 HP monster.
Cons
Can be expensive to maintain. Buy a VIDA to read your car or you will spend a lot of money on things you don't necessary need. Learn to do most if not all of the work yourself - this will save you BIG TIME. Otherwise find a garage.
