The V90 has been in my possession for a little over a year and a half now, and it has taken the task of the family workhorse to the next level. The ride is comfortable; the suspension travels very smooth over multiple terrains, good pickup when accelerating, spacious interior and a great sound system. I love the fact that I can pack the whole family in the car or take it out on a date night with the wife and be glad we didn't settle for a caravan.
Story
Driving all over the state, for meetings, soccer practices and dance recitals.
Pros
Luxury, Well built, lots of room.
Cons
Airbag recall

I like that it is comfortable and smooth. It is not a sports car, but I feel relaxed when I am in it. I would recommend Volvos to anyone who asked me to suggest a good vehicle. It is a car that will run for miles and miles. During my time researching the vehicle, I saw many ads and stories of people who were able to put 300K or more on their vehicles and most were still going strong. Amazing!
Story
I was able to pick up a piece of furniture without having to use my truck.
Pros
Smooth, comfortable ride. Reliable and good on gas. Inexpensive to fill up the gas tank. Roomy and can fit numerous items in the back area, especially when you fold down the seats. Leather interior that is thick leather, not cheap leather that will be peeling with age. Sturdy and well made is what this car is all about. Great stereo system and many perks.
Cons
Expensive to fix when things break. Requires a special expensive oil and filter. That is about all I can think of as far as cons go.

My husband and I bought this car when we found out we were pregnant, and my husband needed to do a significant amount of commuting. Growing up, I always thought Volvo was the safest car you could have.
Story
My husband and I brought our daughter home from the hospital after she was born in our Volvo .
Pros
Growing up, I always thought Volvo was the safest car you could buy. My husband and I blindly bought into the brand.
Cons
The cost of upkeep. Volvo is incredibly expensive. It is as much as a BMW or other European car without the resale.
