The Volvo is a very useful family vehicle. It has a style that is not over the top. The safety feature is what impressed me about the Volvo. I have always driven a Volvo because the way the frame is make. Volvo makes their vehicles with a steel frame around the car the protects the passenger. Also, the Volvo is great on gas although I have had to get tune ups on a regular basis. The Volvo is child friendly as well equipped with safety locks that was quite impressive. The Volvo has parts made in another country but has been built mostly with American parts. Volvo is family oriented with the safety of the passenger as first priority. I don't like the way the non important parts of the Volvo needs work but that is what's important (the non important parts). The Volvo has proven to be quit... (more)

The fun and memorable story about using this vehicle is that the repair if minimal.

My 2013 Volvo XC70 station wagon is exactly what I was looking for. Solid-built vehicle with a high-quality exterior and interior. The vehicle is all-wheel drive which as proven to be very useful to me here in CT, since I live atop a mountain and have the need to frequently navigate in the winter snow. The vehicle run strong and seems to be very dependable, too. All I have had to do is regular oil changes, and it has been a problem-free vehicle. I was specifically looking for this particular vehicle, and I also researched similar cars from other manufacturers as well. Having owned another Volvo in the past, I was familiar and comfortable with the brand. The vehicle has an extremely comfortable feel, and I am quite pleased with my purchase.
Story
Just last week my family of four, plus one grandpa (which totaled five people), went out for pizza to celebrate grandpa's birthday. We took the 2013 Volvo, and all five of us were very comfortable and had a great time driving 30 minutes to our destination. Each of us are approximately six feet or taller, and we all felt happy not at all smooshed in.
Pros
Safe, sound transportation. Dependable all-wheel drive car with lots of storage in rear compartment. I am satisfied with the vehicle performance, and it has great pick up on the highway. My whole family enjoys the car, too. The interior has superior heated leather seating in the front and back which is super comfortable on long family trips. I also love the ease of use of the computer system for audio, heating, and vehicle upkeep. Everything is right at my fingertips, and I adjusted to it quickly and easily.
Cons
The rear cargo area does not have a protective blackout-type, pull-down screen to obscure contents in the trunk/cargo area. The backseat is not as large as I expected it to be, and I do wish the rear seats has a reclining option.

I loved my Volvo, loved everything about it! I had a 2002 Volvo xc 70 cross country it was a ocean race edition so it was a really pretty blue, it was so comfy, I went on a two week road trip from south Carolina out to California came back threw the Rockies and it never skipped a beat, I was never tired of sitting, I even sat in my backseats and they were even more comfy then my fronts and it handled awesome in any weather and I had a jeep before that and I think it was 10 times better then my jeep and I did a lot of flea markets and auctions and the seats were so easy to put down and man did it hold a lot of stuff the only reason I traded it in was because my engine started skipping and I could not find another Volvo cross country so I settled and got an SUVs and the SUVs has all the ... Story
I already told it I went on a 2 week road trip from south Carolina to little rock Arkansas, to Oklahoma city then to Albuquerque, and to the grand canyon then to Reno then to lake Tahoe, then to salt lake city, then to saint George Utah, then threw Colorado then on to Nashville and back home and not one issue with the car.
Pros
I loved everything the leather seats, how it handled in all weather the get up and go, the storage the leg room
Cons
Nothing presently to be considered.
