I bought this car as a certified program car in 2003. It had approximately nineteen thousand miles on it. It was reasonably priced and was very clean.
Story
I was driving through Denver, Colorado, when the driver in front of me hit an elk. He continued driving on, so I stopped and put the elk on the top and held it on with bungee cords and electrical tape.
Pros
This car had the very durable and dependable 2.2L 4 cylinder engine and five-speed manual transmission combo. It regularly achieved 30 plus miles to the gallon, in a variety of driving situations. I put almost 25,0000 miles on this car over the next 15 years, with no mechanical issues. I even sold the car in running condition with the original spark plugs and spark plug wires.
Cons
It was too small for our growing family, and I was forced to sell it to buy something bigger.

I like my Chevy cavalier, its has 165,000 miles on it (65,000) being my own in a 3 year span. I've had no major issues with the car. I only paid $2600 for it and have owned it for 3 years, so its already paid for itself in a sense. The 2.2 Engine has plenty of power for me, and gas mileage is pretty decent around 30 MPG on highway, which I drive a lot. Its definitely a reliable ride and quite comfortable on the long rides. This little car sits low to the ground, but even in a fierce snow of 4-6 inches it plows right through. All in all it's a great price, excellent fuel economy, reliable.
Story
One winter evening me and a friend of mine took it out in the snow to the local grocery store in town, did doughnuts on the slippery snow covered parking lot, with the car being so light it really gave us a run for our money.
Pros
Its completely reliable, the fuel economy is great, and it wasn't very expensive to purchase. It's withstood the test of time so far beings almost 20 years old and 165,000 miles later. I look the color, the comfort and how roomy it is for being suck a low sitting vehicle.
Cons
I don't have many cons, maybe wish the headlights were a different style or maybe LED, but other then that it suits me great.

The way that the representatives gave me a lot of information while at the same time catering to my kids and entertaining them so that I was able to take care of the paperwork and everything.

The customer service was excellent, I really felt like they cared about me and were trying their best to make me happy. The final price that I paid I feel was more than fair and all the paper work was processed quickly. I have owned the car for a couple of months and am still very pleased and have had no problems with it whatsoever. Would buy from them again.
