Very dependable
I have had my dodge intrepid for around five years now. When I got it there were 84,000 miles on it, now I have around 134,000 miles on it. So far I have taken my intrepid on two long trips(over 2000 miles) with only a blowout as my only issue with the car. It is a v6 which is not great on gas but not awful either. My state is littered with pot holes and by some miracle they have not taken a toll on my dodge. The power steering went out once but it was an easy fix. I also had to get the catalytic converter replaced when I first got it which is why I got the car at such a good price. All in all this car was very reliable and almost never let me down with break downs and maintenance.

Not in love
This vehicle was purchased used and has given me a little trouble, but not as bad as it could have been. I'm not a mechanic but I would like to learn how to better care for my automobiles. This car, as I later learned has an engine that is reviled, mostly in relation to the car's water pump. This car seems very reliable and something that could last a long time if properly taken care of.

good family car, room for improvement
I like that it's a four door sedan, with lots of room in the back seat. It has a heat/air vent in the back of the center console, which is great for keeping the kids comfortable. There are a lot of features with electronics, like auto dimming rear view mirror, which keeps those annoying bright lights of the guy behind you from driving you nuts. There's a distance till empty mileage tracker on the fuel tank, as well as temperature sensors and a trip monitor. The seals around the doors are coming loose, and the wind whistles through them. The vents are not very powerful for the drivers' side, making the passenger overly hot/cold. And the auto stick option on the automatic shifter is an unnecessary option, I have never once used it. It's a good car, but not what I was hoping for.
