I might own this car forever.
I know this model has had known issues with engine sludge and issues dying around 100k total mileage, but I have owned this car for over 10 years. The body style is still in fashion and it has held together for a long time considering my insane driving. I owned it from my early 20s to my mid 30s and it still suits all my needs. It was spacious and comfortable enough to move me across country. Its leather seats are great for cleanup when the kids destroy the backseat with sticky things and some things that aren't even meant to be sticky. The trunk space is fantastic. I also feel pretty safe in the vehicle during long drives because it is built solid. I am not so happy to drive in snow and ice but the weight of the car keeps me grounded, sorry for the pun. Gas mileage across country was nice, around 28-32 mpg. In city around 16-18 mpg. If they made a newer model of this car, I would buy it in an instant, IF I had the heart to give up my current one.

Fast and powerful.
The 2002 Dodge Intrepid is a pretty fast and powerful car. Packing a six-cylinder engine and pressing the accelerator will thrust you forward with lots of momentum. I like how low to the ground the car is as well, because it goes smoother and quicker.

I loved everything about this car, especially for my first vehicle!
