I love this car!!
This is my second Intrepid, the first one was a 1998 gold metallic basic model. I was at the dealership for repair work and spotted a beautiful Inferno Red SXT with moon roof, spoiler, and chrome wheels. I love the body style of the Intrepid. It reminds me of a bigger version of the 1970 Camaro I had as a teenager. My car has the high output 6 cylinder engine for plenty of pickup. The Intrepid has great handling, plenty of room for five passengers and a very spacious trunk. Gas mileage is decent and I have found this to be a very reliable car. I've racked up over 190,000 miles with few repairs.

Hideous piece of junk.
It takes ages to pick up speed. Trying to get to 65 on the on-ramp to the freeway is a nightmare. The doors lock themselves and stay locked when you get out of the car - which I never remember and it annoys me to have to open the front door and hit the unlock every time I want to get something out of the back seat. The windshield wipers never function properly. They don't turn off when you'd like them to. The lights are in a stupid location - not near the wipers as you would thing, but in the dash.

I enjoyed both riding and driving in the Dodge Intrepid.
The 2003 Dodge Intrepid SE is a 4-door sedan with a 2.7L V6 engine. I had purchased mine secondhand from a neighbor. It had roughly 80,000 miles on it upon purchase, and it had never been in a car accident.
