The car is very sleek and the design allows for when you are going around 15 to 30 miles the rain almost never touches the windshield. The look of the car is amazing. It is a car any person could be proud to drive and we have even seen people turning their heads to look at it. I love the fact that the car is large enough for an almost grown family of five, a basset hound, and a dash hound to go quite a distance and no one complained that someone else was in there space. The only blind spots that I have noticed are the major ones in most cars. These blind spots are where the front and back windshield meet the doors. The roof supports are just a little to thick. The car is very quiet to ride in. We had to have the car in the shop right after we bought it for a recall problem that took... (more)

I bought the car used in 2012. The Avenger is black exterior with a beige cloth-like interior. The vehicle is very fast but also extremely quiet. I love how the interior was a silk like cloth and soft leather. When I purchased the vehicle it had 13,000 Miles. Since then, I have put about 150,000 miles. Not much has changed with as far as ride quality. I try to keep the car's maintenance regularly checked, which has kept it running at peak performance.
Story
I was driving to work a couple years ago, and I had a newer model Ford Mustang that pulled up to the light next to me signalling that he wanted to race. I have always been up for a race, so as the light turned green we were off. I ended beating the Mustang in my 4-cycle Avenger.
Pros
The quality of the sounds system is great. Music is like a religion for me, and usually I have to swap the speakers out of a car so I can have a high quality sound, but I didn't need to do that with my Avenger. Also the gas mileage is amazing! I drive 70 miles round trip to get to and from work 6 days a week. And I only need to fill the tank once a week even with all the extra driving I do outside of work. I am averaging about 33 miles per gallon with my Avenger. And the trunk space is HUGE! Like I said earlier, I love my music and I am able to put two 15" subwoofers in my trunk along with... (more)
Cons
Honestly, this has been one of the best cars I've ever had. The only negative thing I have to say is that I had some small transmission issues about a year ago. The car had trouble shifting gears but other than that it has been an amazing vehicle.

I have owned this car for almost four years now and I have had no major issues with it even though I bought it with high mileage (129,000). I love the look of it, somewhat a sports car look but great gas mileage and V6 makes it get where it needs to go. The person before me took care of this car extremely well and I have maintained it just the same, keeping it serviced regularly. My father owned this style of Avenger when it came out in 2008 and once I started college I found one of the same year.
Story
When driving to concerts far away, I always enjoy taking my car even though it has high miles because it normally holds up pretty well. A lot of people confuse it with a Charger (those who don't know cars very well) and it's kind of a funny compliment because I love Chargers but can't afford one yet.
Pros
It was relatively affordable since it was a used vehicle when I bought it. I get great gas mileage and haven't had any engine problems or high-cost issues with it yet. I love the look of the car inside and out, a lot of space in the trunk and the back seat, and I am happy that it has an AUX port so I can listen to music from an iPod/iPhone.
Cons
I've heard a lot of Dodge vehicles have transmission problems and I have had worries that it will happen soon. Also, since I have put so many miles on the car there are things that will eventually go out and have - the A/C and other regular things. The sensors have also gone out in this car and always send Check Engine and Check Oil lights when they are not actually needed.
