I think it's one of the best looking trucks on the road. It has style inside and out. The body is beautiful in my opinion and it makes no noises or unidentifiable sounds even after putting almost 40,000 miles on it. It is a manual shift diesel powered Cummins and I've never had a problem with any of the running components. Besides usual maintenance I have yet to have to fix any parts on the truck. I use it often as a hauler for a horse trailer and RV and it works great in all situations. I had a different truck prior to this one and I'd never go back. This truck runs great, sounds great, looks great, I have no complaints at all. The interior is leather and beautiful, holding up exceptionally well to my co-pilot Great Dane that goes with me everywhere. No electronic problems either, my ... (more)
Story
I have fun in this truck every time I drive it. It pulls and runs like a champ on highways but at the same time I have folded in the mirrors and done some serious off roading in this giant beast. It's been given mud baths more than any truck I know and it comes through it all in stride.
Pros
I love that its a manual transmission. The power behind the Cummins diesel motor is exceptional. This truck tows without any hesitation some of the biggest and heaviest loads I've ever had to deal with. The interior is great and a lot more stylish than some of the other trucks I looked at. It's comfortable and durable, stands up to everything I throw at it.
Cons
The only big con is the gas mileage, it is a diesel and I use it for its intended purpose, so it does go through a lot of fuel, but if you need a vehicle for work purposes and it has to tow and still get around town, this is the one.

This Dodge truck is an excellent vehicle! It runs well and has little to no mechanical problems. It is roomy and comfortable, and has a lot of inside storage spaces. The look of the truck is "classic" in that it never goes out of style. It is very well built! The bed of the truck is spacious and can handle heavy-duty loads. It picks up easily on hills and maintains speed. For it's size, it is pretty good on gas. Although it is a large vehicle, it handles easily and can be driven comfortably by both men and women. The window placements give the driver a good view of the road on all sides. The brakes stop easily and efficiently and don't grab or stick. The maintenance costs are fair for the type of vehicle it is, but can be a bit pricey for some. That may not matter in the overall pictur... (more)

We went with the mega cab single rear tire 2007 6.7 Cummins model of the Dodge Ram 3500.
Story
We have used the truck to tow several pieces of farm equipment when they got stuck in the mud! The amp appears to be going out in right now. It will plays a CD for a few minutes and then goes to static like a radio would when out of range. We have not taken it in for replacement of it yet.
Pros
The extra space in the cab is fantastic for the kids as it eliminates them kicking the back of your chair. It comes with a built in DVD player and excellent sound system. Leather seats throughout with heated driver and passenger seats are fantastic. The truck has more power/towing capacity than you could possibly need. It is durable and rugged enough for the farm we live on and the livestock/equipment we have needed to haul. The turbo is nice to have especially when using the tow option. Exhaust breaks are very helpful when hauling anything as well. Lots of space and storage behind the seat.
Cons
As most diesels are the truck is very loud and the mileage especially when towing is not fantastic (14mpg when hauling trailer and horse). In the winter the truck takes a long time to warm up. Oil changes for diesels are VERY expensive compared to gas burning trucks.
