I bought this vehicle because I have always liked them and always wanted one. I purchased it used with around 70k miles on it for $10,000. It has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. It's never left me stranded and only very few issues with it in the past 6 years of ownership. One issue was major, water pump, but other than that only maintenance items. I use it for work and work out of the roomy hatch of the vehicle. To this day I still drive it daily and the vehicle has 220k+ miles on it. If this particular vehicle was still being produced today I likely would not hesitate to buy another.
Story
It makes a great vehicle for drive-in movies
Pros
Ample room good gas mileage for a big car sporty wagon reliability
Cons
Has the smallest engine available for this particular vehicle, could use more power. The cloth seats stain very easily, even water stained them

I bought the vehicle initially for its great price. I bought the car from left over stock that was on the lot and got a good deal on it. The initial impression of the car was good even though it was not the V8 I was hoping for originally when I went. The ride of the car also seemed good and it looked like it would be a great fit for our growing family.
Story
Riding in the backseat because it was roomy for me.
Pros
The ride of the car was a lot smoother than the previous car we had. Being a wagon, it had ample storage room in the back of it for strollers or pack&plays. I sat in the back seat to test whether or not a tall person felt comfortable and found it quite roomy. The layout of the dashboard also seemed appealing. The outside of the car had a nice low profile and sporty curves.
Cons
It was a v6 that I had purchased and did not have enough get up and go in it. The storage in the back was covered from sight only by a flimsy plastic retractable cover. The car had to be put into the shop for an issue with the shifter locking up, which prevented you from putting the car in drive/reverse. Only two months after having the car I experienced transmission issues and had to take into the shop under warranty. I got it back out of the shop and had to take it back two more months later for another transmission issue before it was resolved. The ignition on the dashboard wears out ve... (more)

The 2005 Dodge Magnum is the best car that I have ever owned to date. I bough tit in 2005 from the dealership and have been a proud owner for 10 years. It still runs strong and has only given me one problem so far. I love the car so much that I want to take care of it. A lot of people take care of their car because they have to, but my Magnum makes me want to take care of it. I put up 114 thousand miles on the dash and the car still runs great and smooth. I have a family of four and it has never given me a problem with space. The trunk is a great size and I fit a whole bedroom set in the back. Its surround sound audio system is great and gives a crisp sound quality. The stock suspension that comes in this car is tremendous. I go over potholes like it's nothing.
Story
One memorable moment I had was when I fit 10 people into the car. My friend's car broke down, so my car was already full and so was his. What we did was park his car on the side of the road and then everyone fit into my car.
Pros
Space, Power, Style. But mainly space. The car has a lot of space. It's also pretty fast.
Cons
My alternator gave out a year back. It was 9 years old though, so it really isn't that big of a con. Also, it's a pretty big car. Both those things aren't really cons and shouldn't take away from the greatness of this car. Also takes a lot of gas.
