Life with a Dodge Magnum
The Dodge Magnum is a unique vehicle in that it has the look of a car but can do the work of a truck. It has a huge cargo space in the back with the ability to fold down the seats and increase the cargo space. It is possible to move large items such as a twin-size mattress or small furniture items like a dresser in the back of the vehicle. I have had this vehicle for 14 years. It has over 150,000 miles on it. The gas mileage is ok for a vehicle of its size, but not as good as newer vehicles. It has had some mechanical problems in the last few years including a repeat problem with the vacuum system in the engine, but overall maintenance and repair has been low. There are no odd sounds or rattles even now at this high mileage or age. This is a very large car. It does have multiple blind spots which can make parking, backing up and maneuvering in high traffic areas difficult at times. It's size however also makes it very enjoyable on long road trips. There is plenty of leg room and space for packing luggage and other items. The leather seats are comfortable and have held up beautifully over the 14 years I have owned this vehicle. The positioning options for the seats allow for comfortable driving no matter what size or height you may be.

Love it
The 2005 Dodge Magnum is the best car that I have ever owned to date. I bough tit in 2005 from the dealership and have been a proud owner for 10 years. It still runs strong and has only given me one problem so far. I love the car so much that I want to take care of it. A lot of people take care of their car because they have to, but my Magnum makes me want to take care of it. I put up 114 thousand miles on the dash and the car still runs great and smooth. I have a family of four and it has never given me a problem with space. The trunk is a great size and I fit a whole bedroom set in the back. Its surround sound audio system is great and gives a crisp sound quality. The stock suspension that comes in this car is tremendous. I go over potholes like it's nothing.

Quality, versatile wagon
The car was purchased used over ten years ago and has served me well. It is roomy, versatile and well-made. At the time, it had technological features found on very few cars like integrated phone Bluetooth. The car is extremely quiet and very comfortable to drive. It is easy to maintain constant speeds on the highway and makes long drives seem effortless. The width of the car gives the driver and front passenger more room than cars much larger. The car is large, though, and takes some getting used to in order to feel comfortable in tighter spaces like parking lots. Visibility out of the rear windshield is also an issue as the windshield is small. Front visibility can also be an issue because of the low angle of the front windshield. I have had only one mechanical problem in 11 years, none related to the engine or transmission. Fuel economy is average at best but that is to be expected for a car of its age. The cosmetic finishes are not high-end but have generally held up well with the exception of two plastic vents on the dash board and plastic trim on the exterior that has become brittle.
