I own a 1999 two-door Chevrolet Tahoe. I really enjoy the color of my Tahoe, as it is a color that is very rarely seen on other vehicles and it makes it very easy to find my car in a parking lot. The color has also held its vibrancy. I enjoy the truck for the room and can easily fit all my tools in the back. The 4x4 is especially useful in winter, muddy, and rough terrain driving. The truck has over 170,000 miles and the only repairs that have had to be done on it were minor maintenance repairs. The only drawback of the truck is that the gas economy is not the best. However, I did not expect great gas economy in a truck with as much power as this one. It's great at towing whatever I need it to- ATVs, boats, small travel trailers. The roominess of the truck is great for family trips and... (more)
Story
I thoroughly enjoyed traveling with my family in this truck to Disney. I also enjoyed taking it mud riding on my family property.
Pros
The 4x4 is great on this vehicle. It's roomy and has plenty of room for storage in the trunk. It can tow plenty of weight.
Cons
The fuel economy leaves something to be desired, especially when running on 4-wheel drive. It can't tow everything a large truck can.

I purchased this vehicle in Fall of 2007. This was my first SUV. I was drawn to this specific Durango because of the low 18,000 mileage, the excellent body, and the extraordinary pearl white color. I enjoyed this model of the Durango for the strong look of the hoods grill, and the shine to its metal and the Durango emblem nestled in the center. I have had this vehicle for seven years running, and I count my blessings everyday. While I am not the most mechanical of men, I have put in as much as anyone to minor vehicle service and upkeep. I have never been disappointed at inspection time. Most of the repairs on the vehicle have been general...bulb replacements, new wiper blades, spark plugs. There has been several years the only thing I paid for was the inspection. The only major money I... (more)
Story
My mom is eighty years old, and use to her own Cadillac. But she never has any problem adapting to the comfort of the Durango. She has graced the vehicle many times!
Pros
The body appeals to me most, the slick curves and the way the grill attaches to the hood. The color pearl white with the gray accents. The light gray interior leather. The additional seating for two. The low mileage.
Cons
None. I have nothing bad to say about my Durango, it has been a blessing.

I love this vehicle. It has third row seating which allows us to carry eight people comfortably. It has a hatch back with storage space and it also has luggage racks on the roof for extra storage when going on long road trips. The stereo comes equipped with AM/FM radio as well as CD and cassette tape deck player. It does not have an input for an aux cord, but you can purchase a special cassette tape that will allow you to listen to your device through the stereo. It has side step rails to help you get into the vehicle since it is tall. It is rough on gas because it is a 4x4 and it has a V8 engine. It seems like you can put your foot on the gas pedal and use a quarter of a tank of gas!
Story
The most fun I have had in this vehicle was going off road mudding with it in four wheel drive in the country.
Pros
I think my favorite feature about this vehicle is the third row seating. It is wonderful to be able to take my children and their friends with us without them being crowded together. The room and space inside this vehicle is nice.
Cons
It is quite expensive when you need to get new tires put on because they are a larger size. It is also more expensive on gas because it is an SUV, a 4x4, and it has a V8 engine.
