My Dodge Durango has been, by far, the best car I have ever owned. Typically, I would purchase a new car every couple of years in the past. However, this car has been so great I cannot bring myself to get rid of it or replace it with another. The quality of the make of the car beyond exceeded what I ever expected from an American-made car, even more so as the miles have piled on. I now have 109,000 miles on the car. Even with that high of mileage, it still rides very smooth and feels tight. There is very little shaking, noises, or any sort of things typically related to cars that are older with high miles. In fact, my car rides far better than my moms 2014 Chevy, even she agrees with me in there is less road noise, less shaking, and the car just feels more solid overall. The ins... (more)
Story
Going to the drive-in theater. My kids and I have made some really fun memories in this car at the drive-in theater. I have also made some really fun memories with friends and groups as well.
Pros
I love that I have the limited package with all the extras that were offered in the 2008 year model. I love the little details of the chrome moldings on the outside, the interior extras, and how they dress up the car compared to that of a non-limited model. The comfort exceeds that of most other full-size SUVs that I have ridden in. The seats seam softer, and the leg room is totally sufficient. Even when the third row is up, the leg room is more than a lot of other SUVs I looked at when I made the purchase of this vehicle. In fact, that was one of the selling points as well as the comf... Cons
My biggest con to the Dodge Durango is that of gas mileage. Never have I got what they claim I will get in the purchasing paperwork, and for the size of the car, I really feel like the gas mileage should be a bit better than what I do get with it. That is my biggest issue and really my only complaint.

What I like about my 2008 Dodge Durango SUV is the size and build of it. This car can hold a family of five pretty well for long car trips out of town. It has been real easy to find seating and plenty of room to stretch out. So you wouldn't have to worry about the kids running out of space. The downside would have to be, as this car ages, the repairs to fix it can become costly. The performance is touch and go at times. For example, we've had to repair the air conditioner twice already on this vehicle. But when its working, everything is great!
Story
I remember bringing our newborn baby home from the hospital in this car. It was great to have enough space to accommodate family and friends on the way back from the hospital. Everybody had a seat and even the car seat, though big and bulky, didn't seem to take up much room.
Pros
The most top positive things about a Dodge is its durability and quality. We've had this car for a good number of years and have spent tons of time on the road, with kids and dog in tow. Knowing that this vehicle has never given us any major problems is a big plus. We plan to keep the car in our family for a long time. My most favorite feature in the car has to be the extra back seat flip out.
Cons
If you plan to keep this vehicle for past ten years, be prepared to shell out costly repair bills.
