My Dodge Durango has been very dependable over the years. When I was searching for an SUV, this was one that I really liked. There is a third row for extra passengers, a v8 engine, 4x4 for those nasty days and power windows and locks. The quality is second to none. To this day, people are amazed what good shape the vehicle is in. The interior has held up nicely over the years. I always took care of it and it paid off. Besides the interior, there is able room. I have moved from Florida to PA and back. Amazingly, there is a lot room with a 60/40 split. The brakes are ABS brakes and it is equipped with a tow package. I can tow my boat or my trailer without an issue. Besides that, I don't have any blind spots. The SUV came with larger mirrors and that helps to minimize blind spots. Cont... (more)
Story
It's great for tailgating. I should have added this in the pro section but I will mention it here...I have taken this is several tailgating events. It has an outlet in the back, lights, speakers and plenty of room in the back for coolers. I always enjoy to tailgate out of my Durango. I even took it to a Jimmy Buffet concert...I will just say, thank goodness for the extra room in the back and t... (more)
Pros
There are several positive things about the car. First, like I mentioned above, the dependability of the vehicle. I always feel safe, even in adverse conditions. Being higher always helps with dealing with the nasty weather. It is very comfortable as I am a bigger guy and never have an issue, even on longer trips. I can carry a lot in the back and never have an issue with pick up. The car comes with dual side airbags, a security system and like I mentioned before ABS brakes. The handling of the car is very good. It does not feel top heavy. It is very good around corners and even off road... (more)
Cons
I do have a few negative issues with this Durango. First the climate control system is not the best. I had to have the AC replaced, along with the fan and sensors. I believe that this was an issue with Chrysler/Dodge and was never recalled. Anyway, the AC doesn't get as cold as I would like or like its competitors such as Ford. The fuel mileage is average to poor. With the fuel prices today, I wish to get more mph. Hey, it's a 2003 so I can't complain too much. The light bulbs seems to be another issue. I have to get the bulbs replaced every couple of years. Another issue is the spare ti... (more)

I really like my Dodge Durango. It is nice looking on the outside while roomy and comfortable on the inside. The car has had very few mechanical issues, and all issues were resolved quickly with good prices on the parts. The Dodge Durango, while a larger vehicle, is good on gas. It is great as a daily driver and even better for long road trips as everyone has plenty of room. The Dodge Durango has third-row seating, making it comfortable for 7 people to ride. I really like that the third-row seat lays flats to give more trunk space, and you can lay the second row down to accommodate larger moves. The Dodge Durango has lots of little pockets and cup holders making it convenient for everyone riding. The Dodge Durango has been one of the best vehicles I have owned. It is roomy, reliable an... Story
My family and I often enjoy going to our favorite local beach. We drive the Durango right on the beach and open the hatch where we have easy access to all of our beach necessities. We also love to take it fishing; we will open the hatch and use the back to easily access our equipment.
Pros
My favorite features of the Dodge Durango are the roomy interior, pleasant-looking exterior, plenty of storage space and cup holders through out. I like that it accommodates 7 people with room to spare and that the seats lay flat to offer more trunk space. The Durango is good on gas and has all leather interior. Everything is easy to wipe clean. Parts to be purchased for the Durango are easy to find and a fair price.
Cons
The Dodge Durango has had several issues with the windows. The motor stopped working in 2 windows while the 3rd and 4th window fell off the tracks. The Durango also had an issue with the brake lights. There was a short in one side.
