I absolutely love this vehicle. I was always a lover of Ford vehicles and the salesperson convinced me to take a test drive in the Durango. It has not disappointed. The truck is spacious and has ample leg room. One of the few drawbacks of the vehicle is room in the back when all three rows of seats are being used. The vehicle provides very little storage space when all three seats are up. To maximize storage space, you will need to flatten the back row of seats. The front seats adjust in a million ways allowing the driver to be incredibly comfortable. The vehicle handles in amazing fashion and allows you to make very quick adjustments as necessary. You will find that it is great on gas. This is especially true on long road trips , where you will see the mikes per gallon soar. The facto... (more)
Story
My family & I travel around the country each year to see our favorite football team play. We love getting in the Durango and heading out on roadtrips !
Pros
The vehicle has front and rear controls so that everyone can adjust the air conditioning and heat. There are a number of cup holders for all of the vehicle occupants. Additionally , there is a great deal of leg room , even in the third row. The sound system is phenomenal and has a great , even sound throughout. The engine is quiet and smooth and the car gets excellent gas mileage. You can keep track of this mileage with the digital gauge that also tells you the miles per gallon , the distance until empty , the temperature and a great deal of other information. The vehicle has a very smooth... (more)
Cons
The car is very large and looks almost sloth like from outside. Additionally , when all of the seats are being used , there is little storage room in the back. You will need to flatten on of the rear seats to gain more space for storage on occasion which means you lose one seat for a person. The windshield of the car is particularly large , which lends itself to rocks that pop up on the road. Changing the time in the vehicle is difficult for some reason. It is slightly more complicated than necessary. The car is sometimes difficult to park , as it will not fit into small or snug spaces. It... (more)

I am very fond of Dodge vehicles, so I was not surprised at all that I fell in love with the Dodge Durango. I have driven my Durango all over Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas. I have had absolutely no problems. I currently have 189,000+ miles on my Durango and it still running strong. I did have an issue with water getting down into the vehicle because the window cowling on the front windshield was a poor design, but replaced it and haven't had any more problems with water. I have had to replace the battery and a couple of sensors over the years, but I really have not had any kind of major issues with my vehicle. I am getting a little nervous about the amount of miles that I have on my Durango, but so far it has shown no signs o... (more)
Story
One day I was considering getting a smaller vehicle because my kids are teenagers and they are starting to do their own things. I picked my kids up that day from school and each one of them brought another kid with them one after another. So, by the end of it all, I was counting the kids and counting the seats in my Durango to see if we would all fit. There were exactly 7 of us and exactly 7 s... (more)
Pros
It is comfortable and easy to drive. I have been in a fairly major accident in mine when a lady hit me without even trying to slow down from behind. My kids and I were all fine other than having whiplash. The woman's car was totaled. You could barely even tell until you looked under the bumper that my car had been hit. There is a lot of room to haul around many different people and luggage. It works well to tow campers with.
Cons
Gas mileage is not the best, but it is a beast of a vehicle so I think that is expected. The original cowling was poorly designed.
