I absolutely love this vehicle. I was always a lover of Ford vehicles and the salesperson convinced me to take a test drive in the Durango. It has not disappointed. The truck is spacious and has ample leg room. One of the few drawbacks of the vehicle is room in the back when all three rows of seats are being used. The vehicle provides very little storage space when all three seats are up. To maximize storage space, you will need to flatten the back row of seats. The front seats adjust in a million ways allowing the driver to be incredibly comfortable. The vehicle handles in amazing fashion and allows you to make very quick adjustments as necessary. You will find that it is great on gas. This is especially true on long road trips , where you will see the mikes per gallon soar. The facto... (more)
Story
My family & I travel around the country each year to see our favorite football team play. We love getting in the Durango and heading out on roadtrips !
Pros
The vehicle has front and rear controls so that everyone can adjust the air conditioning and heat. There are a number of cup holders for all of the vehicle occupants. Additionally , there is a great deal of leg room , even in the third row. The sound system is phenomenal and has a great , even sound throughout. The engine is quiet and smooth and the car gets excellent gas mileage. You can keep track of this mileage with the digital gauge that also tells you the miles per gallon , the distance until empty , the temperature and a great deal of other information. The vehicle has a very smooth... (more)
Cons
The car is very large and looks almost sloth like from outside. Additionally , when all of the seats are being used , there is little storage room in the back. You will need to flatten on of the rear seats to gain more space for storage on occasion which means you lose one seat for a person. The windshield of the car is particularly large , which lends itself to rocks that pop up on the road. Changing the time in the vehicle is difficult for some reason. It is slightly more complicated than necessary. The car is sometimes difficult to park , as it will not fit into small or snug spaces. It... (more)

I absolutely love my Durango. I love the spaciousness of it as well as the interiors' ability to stand up to three kids. From cleaning the carpet to the strong vinyl and plastic, it has definitely impressed me. Without car seats, I am able to fold down the second and third row, basically giving myself a pickup with an open bed for transporting large items. I enjoy having four-wheel drive as I live in a state that experiences long harsh winters, but having to replace all four tires if one picks up a nail is a downside. The engine space is abundant, making it an easier to work on vehicle. I do not like having to change headlamp bulbs through an access panel in the wheel well.
Story
Watching fireworks with young kids from inside the truck. The mosquitoes were terrible as we had parked right next to a lake where the fireworks were lit. All of the kids were able to see the fireworks, avoid a million mosquito bites and not have extremely loud noise scaring them.
Pros
It has a 5.7 Hemi (which just sounds amazing when it starts and is driving down the road), but the gas mileage is comparable to a small SUV. The spaciousness of the Durango is great for parents. I am able to fit two full-size car seats plus a booster seat in just the middle row to accommodate our three year old twins and five year old. This allows for the back seats to be folded down for tons of storage space if needed. The biggest highlight for my kids' sake is the built-in DVD player. Long road trips are much more enjoyable with entertainment along the way. My favorite things include: po... (more)
Cons
The top negative thing is having to change the headlamp through the access panel in the wheel well. It is extremely difficult to get an adult size hand in and the bulb assembly into the bracket. Another minor negative is the middle seat of the middle row. It does not fold up like the two outer seats do, sometimes causing a headache when trying to clean or transport large items.
