Trouble with Durango
I purchased this vehicle from a used car lot in Pearl, MS. I thought it would be a good vehicle because we have five kids in our family, and it provided enough room for everyone. The vehicle was in good shape but had quite a few miles on it. However, we had a mechanic look it over and decided to purchase it. The first fault was that it got very poor gas mileage. The windows began to hesitate when lowering or raising, and then they refused to do either. Shortly after that, the transmission began slipping, and the vehicle would no longer go in reverse. After trying to get the dealership to assist us in fixing the Durango, we simply parked it in the driveway.

Fantastic Vehicle
I have always been a Jeep girl. I've bought three. But I was looking for something with a little bit more room and better gas mileage and lo and behold, I found my dream vehicle: The 2013 Dodge Durango. From the moment I sat in the driver's seat, I fell in love. It'd big. It's roomy. It's comfortable. My version has two bench seats and seats a total of seven (there is a version available with 4 captains chairs and a bench seat that seats six). The back row of seats folds down completely for extra storage. The second row of seats not only folds down, but they are completely removable, in case you need the entire vehicle to haul something. It's an All Wheel Drive vehicle, and while I had always had a 4X4 because I live in the snow belt, the Durango handles like a dream in the snow and slush and ice. The gas mileage is great too. I average 23.5 MPG driving mixed highway and city and if I'm driving straight highway, I get 27 MPG. I was only averaging 21 and 23 respectively in my previous Jeep! The vehicle performs great, has a tight turn radius and is easy to parallel park when needed (no bad blind spots like other SUVs can have).
