A great, overlooked car
The base model of the 2013 Dodge Avenger is a fine choice for a mid-sized sedan. For me, one of the best features of this vehicle is its sporty good looks, which give it a Dodge Charger look. It definitely makes it look different than the competition. I am a 5 ft. 9 inch tall man and found the interior to be comfortable and roomy, although taller people may not like the lower ceiling. Dodge has come a long way with its build quality, and this car does have a solid feel. Quality of the paint still looks good after four years in the Florida sun, and I have had no issues with the power windows or door locks. The dashboard has a nice, padded leather look to it, and the steering wheel has a sporty three-spoke design. The gauges on the dashboard are easy to read and are logically placed. The base model stereo system is basic indeed: AM/FM radio with a CD player. There is a 3.5 mm jack to plug your smart phone into and play Pandora/Spotify. The performance of this car is adequate. You will not win any races, but it keeps up with traffic. It is quiet and comfortable on the highway. The only major gripe I have about this car is the location of the battery. It is located in the wheel well behind the driver’s side front tire. The average person would have a lot of trouble replacing this battery.

This car has been an exceptional vehicle for the cost of purchase.
The Dodge Avenger has met and exceeded the Dodge reputation for a quality vehicle for the price. For a mid budget vehicle, it has the feel of a luxury car. The Dodge Avenger has a sport appearance, while also fulfilling its role as an all around family car. It is a car that can be enjoyed by all members of a family. The quality of craftsmanship is equal to Dodge's more expensive models of cars without putting a strain on your budget. It is a car that has been built to last and one that you will not be in a hurry to trade in. Compared to similar models made by other manufacturers, the Avenger offers a much better quality to value ratio. Compared to other vehicles in the Avenger price zone, the Avenger should be at the top of your list for a future purchase. It is a car that you will get many years of use out of with low maintenance costs. As with all Dodge vehicles, you should expect to surpass other manufacturers regarding the life of the vehicle. If you are looking for a vehicle that will outlast the term of five year loan, then the Avenger is a vehicle you should take into serious consideration.
