The Dodge Avenger has met and exceeded the Dodge reputation for a quality vehicle for the price. For a mid budget vehicle, it has the feel of a luxury car. The Dodge Avenger has a sport appearance, while also fulfilling its role as an all around family car. It is a car that can be enjoyed by all members of a family. The quality of craftsmanship is equal to Dodge's more expensive models of cars without putting a strain on your budget. It is a car that has been built to last and one that you will not be in a hurry to trade in. Compared to similar models made by other manufacturers, the Avenger offers a much better quality to value ratio. Compared to other vehicles in the Avenger price zone, the Avenger should be at the top of your list for a future purchase. It is a car that you will get... (more)
Story
My fondest memory in this car will always be the day my son drove myself and his Grandma for the first time on an out of state road trip after receiving his license. He was so proud and I was so happy that we were in a vehicle that was safe and easy for him to drive.
Pros
The trim of the Avenger is very appealing and has a sport look to it. Just by the weight and feel of the vehicle, you can tell it has been manufactured with quality. The 4 cylinder model offers an exceptional amount of power compared to other vehicles in its class. It has a very roomy interior that also offers a lot of storage space. The interior trim is of very high quality and makes you feel like you are driving a higher end luxury vehicle. The cab of the vehicle is very smooth and airtight, making it enjoyable to drive on long road trips.
Cons
Although I have not found many cons while owning this vehicle, one of the options I would have liked to have been included is the electronic fuel meter that tells you how many miles left on a tank. I have had option on lower end vehicles and it has come in handy. I would have to say the biggest con, is that Dodge no longer makes the Avenger model.

The base model of the 2013 Dodge Avenger is a fine choice for a mid-sized sedan. For me, one of the best features of this vehicle is its sporty good looks, which give it a Dodge Charger look. It definitely makes it look different than the competition. I am a 5 ft. 9 inch tall man and found the interior to be comfortable and roomy, although taller people may not like the lower ceiling. Dodge has come a long way with its build quality, and this car does have a solid feel. Quality of the paint still looks good after four years in the Florida sun, and I have had no issues with the power windows or door locks. The dashboard has a nice, padded leather look to it, and the steering wheel has a sporty three-spoke design. The gauges on the dashboard are easy to read and are logically placed... (more)
Story
When driving around town as a family, we usually take my wife's van for all of the extra space. One day, I picked up my wife from work and my daughter was sitting in the front seat. My wife grudgingly got into the back seat of the car. I think it was the first time she has been in the back seat of a car in a decade. She was actually surprised at the amount of room that she had, but still s... (more)
Pros
Cost. This car is undervalued and can be bought for far less that its competition. Ride and handling. It has a sporty feel without being punishing. Looks. It has an aggressive look to it.
Cons
Battery location. Instructions for replacing your battery should not include "remove front driver side tire." Truck space is lacking.
