Usable, but dull.
It's a clunky piece of all right. It performs well on long trips and driving at high speeds. It doesn't get to those high speeds very comfortably. It shifts awkwardly and inconsistently. It's fairly comfortable up until you bring in too many people, then it's cramped. Too many people in this case is about five adults. It's served me for over five years, and I've ran into few problems. The built-in radio was nice for the first two years when it worked. Now it's busted and getting a replacement is stupidly expensive.

A great purchase for our growing family.
We are really happy with our GMC Terrain. We find that the quality of the vehicle is to our satisfaction and better than most vehicles of similar sizes. When the car drives, it has a sturdy feel to it and doesn't feel like a stiff wind would blow it over. Another thing that we like about the Terrain is that you can talk with people pretty easily inside over the noise of other cars around you. We also like that the door panels are very high in relation to the driver and passengers inside the car. It doesn't feel like we would be exposed in side impact car accidents. The other enjoyable thing about the car is how smoothly it drives over rough road. The bump are minimized compared to other cars we have own and driven. The one thing we don't like about the Terrain is that there isn't much room for a car seat. The other thing that we don't like how the MPG is low so it is costly each time to refill the gas tank.
