I really enjoy my GMC Terrain. I feel that it gets you to where ever you are going with no issue. Not only do you get to where you need to but you arrive safely. If that was not enough, the ride is comfortable and enjoyable. There are plenty of bells and whistles that make you feel high tech. I could go for a leisure drive any day of the week. The ride is smooth. The car is good on gas. Any one would be lucky to own this car. And I think many people know that. After I purchased my GMC Terrain, I noticed how many were on the road. It is one of the most popular cars. So if you can not believe that is reliable, safe, comfortable and cool on your own, then you can just take a look around when you are on the road and let the people speak for you. It comes in many colors and any one can find... (more)
Story
This car is great for family trips. It keeps us safe and can keep up with any weather conditions. One time we were in a storm and could not see a thing. The car handled well and the windshield wipers gave us the vision we so desperately needed.
Pros
The things that I like most about the GMC Terrain is how comfortable it is. I could sit in it for hours and just enjoy the long car ride. The seats are leather and have the perfect recline for both driver and passenger. I love the middle computer console. My favorite feature is the GPS. The maps are easy to read while driving and it is simple to input your location. It also has apps for you to enjoy in your car. The only one I would use is Pandora. It has USB and auxiliary jacks so that you can use your phone or any music devices. This is really convenient for when you want to listen to yo... (more)
Cons
There are not many things that I do not like about the GMC Terrain but there are a few areas that could use improvement. One of the items that I would change is that it is a 4 cylinder. While this makes it great on gas, it causes some issues when trying to increase speed quickly. It takes a little bit more effort to get the car going on the highway. It gets done but it needs the extra push. This is the compromise to save on gas but lose the speed. Another minor issue is the Bluetooth connection. Sometimes it takes a moment to connect or other times it does not connect at all. The Bluetooth... (more)

Bought a 2015 GMC Terrain in January 2015. I was looking for something a little different than a full sized SUV. The Terrain comes in lots of different and new colors. Mine is Carolina Blue which I really like since that is where I am from. It has lots of leg room. I like the options that are included like OnStar navigation which I had never used before. It came standard with a six month trial of OnStar and a three month trial of Sirius XM Radio which was also great. There were many seat color options. I saw many that had light colored seats, and chose one that was mostly black - black floor mats and carpeting with a little grey area on the seat. The car is pretty quiet but you can hear some outside noise. That could be better. The mirrors are great and you can lift the seat up so you ... (more)
Story
Something that I remember most is that within the first six months, I was rear ended right after my daughter's graduation and he was not given a ciation. About two months later, the car was parked and side swiped by the kids step sister. The car had to go back into the shop as the door would pop when opening and it messed up the panel near the front passenger tire and door as well!!!
Pros
A positive are the color choices and options. My favorite features are the backup camera, lane assist, collision alert, OnStar and Sirius xm radio. I love the cargo space and well as being able to move the backseat back and forth for comfort. You can also fold the back seat all the way down to put things in the vehicle. I've put a lawnmower in the back and was able to close the latch all the way.
Cons
A negative is that the air vents are not on the center console to blow in the back like in my previous vehicle. Kids complain it is too hot back there. Also, the trial package for the navigation does not last long enough. It should be at least a year.
