Bought a 2015 GMC Terrain in January 2015. I was looking for something a little different than a full sized SUV. The Terrain comes in lots of different and new colors. Mine is Carolina Blue which I really like since that is where I am from. It has lots of leg room. I like the options that are included like OnStar navigation which I had never used before. It came standard with a six month trial of OnStar and a three month trial of Sirius XM Radio which was also great. There were many seat color options. I saw many that had light colored seats, and chose one that was mostly black - black floor mats and carpeting with a little grey area on the seat. The car is pretty quiet but you can hear some outside noise. That could be better. The mirrors are great and you can lift the seat up so you ... (more)
Story
Something that I remember most is that within the first six months, I was rear ended right after my daughter's graduation and he was not given a ciation. About two months later, the car was parked and side swiped by the kids step sister. The car had to go back into the shop as the door would pop when opening and it messed up the panel near the front passenger tire and door as well!!!
Pros
A positive are the color choices and options. My favorite features are the backup camera, lane assist, collision alert, OnStar and Sirius xm radio. I love the cargo space and well as being able to move the backseat back and forth for comfort. You can also fold the back seat all the way down to put things in the vehicle. I've put a lawnmower in the back and was able to close the latch all the way.
Cons
A negative is that the air vents are not on the center console to blow in the back like in my previous vehicle. Kids complain it is too hot back there. Also, the trial package for the navigation does not last long enough. It should be at least a year.

The design is very sleek; it has all the feel of a luxury car without paying an outrageous price. My model has the two toned cloth seats and not only are all of the seats very comfortable but the two tone appearance has a very sporty feel to it. The stereo is extremely user friendly and is a touch screen which makes it easy to navigate and select items. The Bluetooth connection for hands free talking and music playing has never faulted, skipped, or disconnected. So far the car has been very reliable and has had no major issues. I have driven the vehicle for about 15,000 miles. The onboard display has many different readings on the car including: tire pressure, overall miles per gallon of the car, mileage until empty, mileage until next oil change, and more. My favorite is the display t... (more)
Story
I have taken this vehicle to visit friends in another state and I was able to comfortably fit 4 adults and their baggage in the car which made for a very fun car ride while still being comfortable.
Pros
My favorite aspects of the Terrain have to be the exterior and interior design. It has a very classy and upscale look to it. The easy to use Bluetooth hands fee features have also come in very handy.
Cons
The only negative I can say about the car is that it does not have a very good pick up when you hit the accelerator.
