We bought it because we liked the idea of a hatchback with a smaller car. The backseat is roomy, and three people can comfortably sit in the back seat. The hatchback area has plenty of space. We like that there is a piece that can cover the contents of the trunk space if you want. We have over 100,000 miles on the vehicle and have not had to do much work to it other than regular maintenance—oil changes, new brakes, etc. When we purchased the vehicle, it was also very reasonably priced—less expensive than other similar cars. We also like the look of the car—we got it in silver, and it has a nice look.
Story
Soon after purchasing this car, we took a trip out to Colorado and Utah. Our daughter was really into dinosaurs, so we stopped at as many dinosaur-related sights as possible! We were really glad to have the space but also the decent gas mileage. This also included a very memorable drive up Mt. Evans -- the scariest drive I have ever made!
Pros
We like the hatchback style and the roomier backseat (as compared to other vehicles of a similar style). The vehicle has been very reliable and was overall a very good value.
Cons
The biggest negative was the tires that it came with—we has to replace them relatively soon. We read after the fact that this is a know issue with this car. Otherwise, the only other thing I can think of is that they stopped making this model, so if we want to replace it someday, there isn't a newer option!

The car is well designed, sleek, and very pretty looking. I think it's slick. The wheel controls are logically placed and are effortless to operate, but the phone controls do not work all that well. The interior is nice. The headliner is classy, but the sunshades are sort of cheap - the plastic is not great. I have had some trouble with the air and blower motor. The storage is the absolute best thing about the car. A sunglass holder at the top next to the sunroof controls! It has deep front and rear door map pockets, deep open tray beneath the center console, and fold down rear armrest. Large “A/C cooled” glove box (I didn’t notice at first), armrest storage box that the cover slides to accommodate both larger and smaller persons, front seatback pocket(s), and a hidden storage area... Story
I made out in the backseat during a drive in movie
Pros
Gas Mileage Storage Good looking
Cons
Air blower motor Blind spot Small design features
