Thisis a great little car, complete with great gas mileage and handling. I often travel for convention work and still manage to have plenty of space to lug around all my belongings. And the size always lends itself to snagging those tiny parking spots that no one else can get. It feels light on the road but hugs turns tightly. The seat adjustments make longer drives just as comfortable as quick trips around town. Overall this is a great little car for all types of people.
Story
My favorite moment was when I happened to arrive to a convention hotel later than planned, and it looked like the garage was packed full, that I may have to park somewhere else. But I was determined to park in the hotel garage, as I did not want to have to carry my heavy bins a long distance. Lucky me after circling the tower twice I finally notice a tiny little spot right next to the lobby ... (more)
Pros
One of my favorite things about this car is its great gas mileage. It's never an expensive trip to the gas station and I don't have to go very often. For someone who travels a lot this is ultra convenient.
Cons
My particular car is a bare bones model and I really wish I would have known that cruise control was an upgrade rather than assuming it was standard. Being on the road often leads to some inconsistent driving speeds at times, which can make surrounding drivers confused or mad.

I've owned my Mazda 2 for over two years now, and it hasn't let me down. There have been zero problems with it and I've driven it over 25k miles. The quality is pretty standard for a car in its class; it has all the usual features like a radio, AC, and decent windows. It feels a little weak in the torque/horsepower department and the shape leaves a bit to be desired, but for the price and mileage it gets it's a pretty worthy vehicle for a commuter or daily driver. It's a comfortable, easy-going ride that doesn't drink a ton of gas.
Story
I "raced" a friend in it from south Jersey all the way up to Clifton in north Jersey. He was in an old beat up Civic from 1998. We had a few friends with us and stopped several times along the way. It was the last time we all got together and the one time I can think of that I had fun with this car.
Pros
It's a pretty light car and has more than enough power to get me around to places. It's very light on gas as well, so I haven't spent a huge amount of money getting around to places. It's a bit barebones, but I prefer the simplicity to a more complex car full of stuff I'll never really appreciate. The seats are pretty comfortable as well for stock seats.
Cons
It does feel a little under-powered at times, like I'll want to just step on the gas and go but it barks instead of roars. I dislike the shape a bit; I wish it was a little more stylish looking like the Mazda 3.
