Bought this van used from my employer. It had close to 200,000 miles but was very well taken care of. It was basically a work van used to transport products for the store and transfer products to other stores. It was non-smoking and I had access to all paperwork/maintenance records. The computer had to be switched out at well over 1000.00 And my boss decided to sell it. I bought it and the first day the driver side rear window stopped working. A year later the coil went out on one of the cylinders but was easily remedied since it was on top. During a trip to Texas from Florida, another coil went out and I drove of 4 cylinders from Louisiana to south Texas. I've put over 70 thousand miles on it without any other trouble. It drives great and is good on gas. It's not 100% cosmetically, bu... (more)

the first day taking it to my parents house to show it off, I was putting the windows down and all but the driver's rear window went up. I decided to just disconnect the wiring and keep it up rather than fixing it. it was quite embarassing

I purchased my 2005 Mazda MPV LX in January of 2005 out of sheer necessity. It was six months after the birth of my second child. Early on, it became apparent I couldn't continue driving my Nissan Sentra. I’d become a nervous wreck every time I had to drive around with two small children in such a tiny car. It just wasn’t safe. I knew with an expanding family I needed something with plenty of storage, but I also knew I wasn’t in any position to pay big bucks for a Honda Odyssey or a Toyota Sienna. It took me months of research to find just the right vehicle for my family but eventually I chose the Mazda MPV, because it had everything I wanted at a reasonable price. In ten and a half years of ownership, I can honestly say it’s the best, most reliable car I’ve ever driven. It currently... (more)
Story
Driving down to Florida for our Disney World vacation was an incredibly fun, memorable trip. My kids in addition to myself and my husband never complained once about being in the minivan for hours, because we knew how much fun we'd have once we got to our destination, and we were comfortable in our seats.
Pros
Ample storage space. Great gas mileage- 18 city/25 highway Moon roof Luggage roof rack Deep well for storage
