Poquet Auto Sales Minneapolis
2002 Lexus 1903
The people at Poquet were extremely helpful. I received assistance with all of the inquiries I had regarding the possibility of buying a new car. There is a wide selection and no pressure to buy anything before leaving the lot. Workers were very accommodating by reassuring me that they would be extremely available for any future questions I may have.

Minneapolis, MN Driving Tips
The biggest tip I would give drivers is to have an idea as to your route before you leave. The biggest issue I have heard from friends and people from out of town, is that commuting in Minneapolis can be a nightmare due to all of the one ways. It's not uncommon that if you miss a turn, to have to drive several blocks before you're able to turn around or turn back towards your destination. Also, be aware of North and South when it comes to your Streets and Avenues. It's not uncommon for people to get turned around because they thought they were on the right road, only to find out that they were on "X" Ave S when they wanted to be on "X" Ave N.
Minneapolis, MN Buying Tips
When looking for a car in Minneapolis, the best places to look are towards the outskirts of town as you will find the most dealers there. Southern Minneapolis and Western Minneapolis have the most dealerships but you can find others scattered around the city. Checking online will help save you time, as you'll be able to see which dealers have which cars on their lot and can make your decision as to which ones you want to look at.
Favorite driving memory
One of the things I like most about driving in Minneapolis is seeing the skyline at night. Driving downtown at night, you can see a number of the city's downtown skyscrapers aglow, including the Target headquarters and their LED lights above their building. What's even nicer, is that depending upon which roads and interstates you take, you can get a completely different image of Minneapolis. On a number of occasions, my friends and I will drive around the outskirts of the city just to take in the unique views and landmarks that make Minneapolis so special.
Favorite road
Hennepin Ave. What makes Hennepin Ave my favorite road to drive is the fact that it stretches the entire length of downtown Minneapolis. It begins in the NE suburbs and continues all the way through downtown and Uptown area. It makes finding my way easier, since I know that as long as I can find that road, I can find my way. In addition, unlike many roads downtown, it's a two way street which is a huge time saver when navigating downtown during peak traffic time.

Minneapolis, MN Driving Tips
While driving through Minneapolis, make sure you take in everything that you can. To maximize your drive, go north on Chicago avenue and take view at the new Minnesota Vikings Stadium under construction. A new work of art for Minneapolis. Continue and take a left down S. 2Nd street to see the Guthrie Theater, and finally head south on Twins way to soak up some good old fashion baseball.
Minneapolis, MN Buying Tips
Minneapolis is a hard city to purchase a vehicle because there aren't many auto dealerships located right in the city. However, you won't need to travel too far to find your favorite dealer. Only a 7 minute drive west on 394, you'll find luxury dealers like Land Rover and Audi, but also places like Toyota. Land Rover consistently gets stellar reviews and you can even take your car through their Land Rover off-road course. New car not in your price range or preference? No worries, Poquet Auto in Golden Valley, located another 5 minutes from 394, up to 100, houses a garage full of luxury used vehicles and any other car you're dreaming of. Whether it's a Ford Focus of a Cadillac Escalade, they'll find it for you. Finally, all else fails, Craigslist is an option, however boy recommended.
Favorite driving memory
My favorite memory from driving in Minneapolis is the first time I ever drove in a major city. With stunning views and panoramic landscapes, I will never forgot crossing the bridge and being engulfed by large buildings and classic Minnesota architecture. My personal favorite being the IDS tower and the Guthrie theater. It was a moment I'll never forget and a memory that will stay with me forever.
Favorite road
Nicollet avenue. This is my favorite road to drive because it takes you right through the heart, the life supply of downtown Minneapolis. Anyone who is anyone will be found on this stretch of road. Imagine if you will, driving and seeing all your favorite restaurants and night spots all in one central location. This is what Nicollet avenue is to Minneapolis. You'll also to catch glimpses of the IDS Tower and the famous WCCO news room. If you're lucky, they'll even be filming a segment outside at night.
