Our 2011 Nissan Murano has probably been the best vehicle I have ever owned. I am 60 years old, so I have owned quite a few different vehicles! I typically trade every 3 years or so, but this car has been so good that I have not been able to let it go. I have 105k miles on it, and have never had a mechanical issue with it. The only time it has been in a garage is for new tires, oil changes, and one battery. All electrical components have worked as designed. The seats are comfortable, and have made many long trips doable.
Story
We open up the back hatch and sit in there to watch outdoor concerts and movies in our town.
Pros
The top positive thing is the lack of mechanical problems this car has had. There were no "kinks" that had to be worked out when it was first bought, which has sometimes happened with other cars I have owned. The next positive thing is how comfortable and smooth the ride is. The seats are built to be comfortable, and even with a bad back, I have undertaken many long trips with ease. There is very little road noise, and the ride is similar to the more luxury car brands. The back seats bend down, and this has come in handy when we need to utilize the trunk space and the additional middle are... (more)
Cons
I really do not have any negative items of consequence. The manual was a little ambiguous about which grade oil needed to be used, but we figured that out with the help of our mechanic. I would have liked it to have included Satellite radio and Blue Tooth capability, but perhaps it is only because the year is so old.

I bought this car used. It was loaded and drove smoother than any other car I have had. For as old as the car was, it still looked like a new car. The steering turning ability is really good and sharp.
Story
While sitting at a stop light near Tallmadge, Ohio, we got rear ended by a Honda Accord. Our car had absolutely no damage, and the other car had a crunched front end and side panel was restricting driver door from opening. We just kind of laughed as our car held up so well.
Pros
The driver seat has two pre-defined positioning you can set include steering wheel tilt, which was a bonus. It is four-wheel drive and drives amazing in the snow. It drives like a car but with the space of an SUV. I like that it has keyless remote but gives a slot to put your key fob in so you don't forget when you get out of the car. It will beep at you if you leave the keys in. The seats are very comfortable and has adjustable lumbar support. It also has heated seats in the front and the back, which is great. The sun roof is in the front and the back, which the kids enjoy.
Cons
One con is that the door does not unlock when pulling the handle from the inside. All my other cars would allow the door to open from the inside, even when it was locked. The middle console is hard to get to the bottom compartment. It doesn't have remote start.
