Our 2011 Nissan Murano has probably been the best vehicle I have ever owned. I am 60 years old, so I have owned quite a few different vehicles! I typically trade every 3 years or so, but this car has been so good that I have not been able to let it go. I have 105k miles on it, and have never had a mechanical issue with it. The only time it has been in a garage is for new tires, oil changes, and one battery. All electrical components have worked as designed. The seats are comfortable, and have made many long trips doable.
Story
We open up the back hatch and sit in there to watch outdoor concerts and movies in our town.
Pros
The top positive thing is the lack of mechanical problems this car has had. There were no "kinks" that had to be worked out when it was first bought, which has sometimes happened with other cars I have owned. The next positive thing is how comfortable and smooth the ride is. The seats are built to be comfortable, and even with a bad back, I have undertaken many long trips with ease. There is very little road noise, and the ride is similar to the more luxury car brands. The back seats bend down, and this has come in handy when we need to utilize the trunk space and the additional middle are... (more)
Cons
I really do not have any negative items of consequence. The manual was a little ambiguous about which grade oil needed to be used, but we figured that out with the help of our mechanic. I would have liked it to have included Satellite radio and Blue Tooth capability, but perhaps it is only because the year is so old.

My husband and I purchased a Nissan Murano in 2011. We have thoroughly enjoyed driving this car and plan to keep driving it! We normally trade by now but have enjoyed our Murano so much, we intend on driving it. Right now it has around 80k miles.
Story
We used our Murano to haul supplies for a walk-a-thon. We loaded the back up, and everything fit!
Pros
We like the visibility through all the windows all around that the Murano has. Some crossovers have narrower sight lines. We also like the fact that it is extremely comfortable for very long trips. We take an 18-hour trip twice a year to south Texas each year in it, and we can recline and adjust the seats very comfortably. The seats are designed to be very comfortable. There is minimal road noise. We have had no trouble with any of the computer or electrical components. The only maintenance we have had completed on it are all the scheduled oil/fluid checks. I do not believe it has had any ... (more)
Cons
I wish it came with Satellite radio capability. My husband's trucks all come with it, and he has XM radio plus OnStar. There were a couple of rattles in the center console, but most of the time it is small.
