This vehicle has proven to be quite reliable, comfortable, surprisingly spacious, quick and quiet. While not necessarily the most appealing since it has a "boxy" shape, the four doors, the hatchback, and the fact the rear seats fold down all combined make it so there is amazing amount of space inside despite a seemingly "small" outward appearance. That "boxy" design really helps give it that interior space! Compared to the last older vehicle I had, the gas mileage is much better for me. Overall, there is great response from the vehicle when I step on the gas and brakes accordingly and it has great "get up an go." The radio sounds nice, and it's great system overall since it connects with USB devices (like smartphones and iPods). There is plenty of room for drinks and just grea... (more)
Story
I just recently purchased this car so I haven't had much time to build memories in it yet, but I can say the most memorable experience so far is how great it was at helping me clear out even larger items from a storage locker.
Pros
I love how the seats fold down to give an amazing amount of space inside. When looking at the car from the outside, it appears really small so the spaciousness of the interior is quite surprising and refreshing. I find it to be a very comfortable vehicle. The seats are comfortable for me and I can rest my elbow on the door while being able to grab the ceiling handle with my hand for comfort. The right arm rest is also very comfortable for me and it's great that it can be moved out of the way when necessary. I really love how there is a USB port. That I can plus my smartphone and iPod in ... (more)
Cons
I do not like that it has only one door with an external way to unlock it with a key. What happens in winter like when on other cars, one lock freezes, but the other opens? There is no way to try another lock on this car because there is only one external lock! I was not provided a key fob, so I really need to hope that nothing mechanically goes wrong with it! I do not like that there is like a "push button" to open the hatchback. I would prefer to have more of a standard "latch" (for lack of a better word). I don't like that I have to use a lever on the inside of the vehicle to open th... (more)

There are many pros to the Scion XB. First and foremost, is the space inside the car. For a car that looks small on the outside, you can carry a lot in this car. You can seat five people comfortably and still have a good amount of room behind the rear seats. The rear seats fold down perfectly flat, and you can carry a lot back there with good room for the driver and one passenger. I even picked up my couch from the furniture store when I bought it by putting it in the back of my car. Sure it stuck out the back, but I did it and saved $100 delivery charge. I've moved so much stuff in the back of this car, I feel I treat it more like a pick up than a car. The power is pretty good on this car also. It has the same engine as the Toyota Camry with good power and decent gas mileage. At curre... (more)
Story
I went camping in this vehicle outside of Yellowstone Park. I folded the seats down and slept in the back of it on a foam pad. It was incredibly comfortable and convenient while secure.
Pros
Looks, power, utility, space, and economy.
Cons
Uncomfortable.
