2010 Subaru Impreza - I love this car
This car is one of the best cars I have ever had. It drives great in the snow and I have never had a problem with it. There has been no technical difficulties with the car and it has been very reliable. I appreciate that the safety of the car and bought it so that I can drive my family around without having to worry about safety during an accident.
Story
Driving in the snow, everyone else's cars were getting stuck including a truck and my car just buzzed right around it without a slip.
Pros
I really like the safety rating of the car and that was the main reason I bought it. The heated seats are also something that I really enjoy. The heater in general is really good and works well and quickly upon starting the car. It is pretty decent on gas - I would say about average. It is also comfortable to drive in and roomy enough for people to sit comfortably.
Cons
The trunk is essentially too small for everything, its impossible to go grocery shopping for normal sized purchases without putting things in the backseat. Also, the interior is okay but not anything special I would have liked more style inside the car. Gas mileage could be better, but it is pretty ok.
2010 Subaru Impreza - Best car ever.
We bought this car when it was a year old. I really liked the fact that it had a sun roof, as I had never had one before. It is also a hatch-back model with a fold down seat that makes for a very roomy interior, especially for hauling things. I have carried 15 bags of mulch in the back seat. Also, when my wife and I were moving, we were able to fit all 3 of our cats in their carriers, plus litter box in the back with the seat down. We have had this car since we bought it in 2010. The maintenance has been minimal, the usual oil changes and new sets of tires and windshield wipers. We just now have 65,000 miles on it and are due for its first big tune up. The only downside to the tune up is that it will cost upwards of $1000 at the dealer and $600 elsewhere. A good chunk of change. But st... (more)
Story
As I mentioned this car has a roomy back and a lift up trunk door. We take it on picnics all the time and to the beach where we can fit all the beach stuff, coolers, chairs, etc. in the back.
Pros
My favorite features are the sun roof, the sound system, the roomy convertible back for hauling, the dependability and the gas mileage.
Cons
The top negative is the cost of the tune up. Other minor negatives is that it is small compared to some of the more popular vehicles on the road, like the big pick-up trucks and SUVs. This makes it feel like you are invisible sometimes, and you don't really have the height to see around things.
