The 2016 Subaru Impreza hatchback is a fantastic car by and large. The vehicle's handling is excellent and the acceleration is responsive and capable of maneuvering out of tight spaces. I have found the braking to be reliable, even in short stop situations. As a result of this superlative driving experience I feel confident and secure while driving. Despite the overall excellence of the vehicle however, there have been several issues since I first entered into my lease. Primary among these is the fact that in the five months of owning the car, there have been four safety recalls which have necessitated that I take the vehicle to the dealership for repair or inspection. Additionally, the entertainment system has had numerous issues including a failure to connect to Bluetooth enabled dev... (more)
Story
On one occasion while parking at work I found myself in a row of 5 identical vehicles. I thought this was amusing and that it spoke to the popularity of Subaru vehicles in my area.
Pros
The handling, braking, safety features, acceleration, fuel economy, and overall comfort of the vehicle's ride are all excellent and are primary selling points for 2016 Subaru Impreza hatchback.
Cons
The largest problems with this vehicle lie in its entertainment system which has had a number of issues including a failure to connect to Bluetooth enabled devices, a failure to save preset radio stations, regular failure to connect to Android Auto enabled devices, and on multiple occasions the touchscreen display in the vehicle has gotten stuck on a still picture of the last image seen by the vehicle's back-up camera.

This is an all-wheel drive car that is reliable. It has a smooth ride and doesn't eat too much gas. It's good to take on the road for weather conditions like snow. People always comment on how sporty the ride looks when they see it. The gas mileage is reasonable, considering it is an all-wheel drive. It's a good looking car.
Story
Just typical rides to places where I go to hang out with friends. Usually hanging out at clubs and bars. Talking to people. You know, just the typical things when you cruise around in a car. Nothing all that special. Chilling and relaxing. You know, going to restaurants. All that fun kind of stuff you can do with people you know.
Pros
The all-wheel drive is the most important thing. It is a very reliable car and works in snowy conditions due the all-wheel drive. It is pretty good on gas mileage, and the price is reasonable, considering the car that you get. Subaru has a good reputation, and it's a good looking car. There are pretty good trims to choose from for the car.
Cons
Sometimes the after-market prices on parts are overpriced. People see it and think that I want to race them on the freeway. I didn't buy if for that reason. I got it for gas mileage, the all-wheel drive and the reliability that Subaru provides to its customers. Also, sometimes I feel like I wait too long at the dealer when I have the car serviced.
