Review Summary:
All new for the previous year, the 2018 Subaru Impreza still maintains the hallmark "Subaruness" of the old cars with standard all-wheel drive, sporty handling, and a funky-sounding boxer engine.
The Impreza is even sharper now with better interior space and a rear seat that can accommodate adults.
Despite a small trunk and somewhat lackluster powertrain, the Impreza's stellar handling, roomy cabin, available hatchback body style and a number of widely available advanced driver aids help keep it competitive in the compact market.
