The Toyota Sequoia is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. We stumbled upon this car when I was pregnant with my 3rd child and needed a roomier vehicle. I was intimidated by its size, but the Sequoia, like most Toyota vehicles, is very easy to drive. It is easy to maneuver, even in tight parking spots. It handles beautifully. The interior is comfortable and very roomy. It has the latch system, so installing car seats has been a snap. The back and middle row of seats roll up, which is great for travelling. Additionally, the back seats push forward, making more room in the trunk. We also have four wheel drive, which is amazing in winter when the roads are impassable. I love this car! The only downside is the gas mileage. However, with a big family, that's not something you can eas... (more)
Story
When everyone else is stuck at home because of snowy, icy roads, we have no trouble because of the 4 wheel drive.
Pros
Smooth ride, easy to drive, very comfortable, great for kids, tons of room for kids' stuff, 4 wheel drive
Cons
Gas mileage

This car is wonderful. It does well in snow, is always dependable and although it needs the regular maintenance any car does, it lets you know in time enough to get the money up.
Story
My son got stuck at Yellowstone in his camper. The thing just died and would not start back up. We took the Sequoia out in the middle of the night, driving some pretty deserted roads and picked up him, and the other three members of his family, without a hiccup. And then, without stopping we drove back, alternating drivers. And everyone from the baby and the four year old up, slept in comforta... (more)
Pros
This car handles well. It holds eight people and, at the moment, five car seats. But if we had to, we could put in another car seat with no problem. It steers great and doesn't feel like the huge SUV that it is. And it is one of the most comfortable cars I've ever owned.
Cons
Having said all that, I have to say, it does have its cons. Tires for this vehicle are terribly expensive. And there is a blind spot that makes me extremely nervous when pulling into the right lane or even just backing out of the driveway. But overall, this car makes me feel safer than almost any car I've ever had.
