I love my Toyota Sequoia. I love how it sits higher off of the ground than many other vehicles. This usually allows me to see two cars in front of me when driving down the road. It is also great for when the roads flood just a little, I can cross the water without a problem when a car would not be able to. It is very reliable as long as you keep up the maintenance on it. I do regular oil and filter changes and also replaced the timing belt and some other belt when the maintenance record called for it. I love the room inside the vehicle. I don't have to borrow trucks to move most of the bigger objects I am hauling around. Currently, I have over 160,000 miles on the vehicle, and she still runs as if she is brand new. Story
We used to attend a family reunion in a state park for a weekend. The kids loved to pile into our car to ride around the park, because they would stand on the center console between the front seats and hang out of the sun roof as if they were in a parade. They would all wave to everyone that we would pass in the state park.
Pros
The reliability, size, comfort, everything. I love the comfortable ride in it no matter where you sit. The second A/C controls for the back are really nice along with the DVD player back there. One other thing I have come to love is the auto-dimming rearview mirror. Love the leather interior too. It was a lifesaver when our daughter was younger and always spilling things in the back seat.
Cons
Gas mileage is the only real negative. I love my vehicle, even though she has some years on her now. Oh, and the motor for the rear defrost and window has gone out and been replaced. The dealership told us it is a constant problem with these because the moisture gets into the motor.

The Sequoia is a great vehicle. My family uses it to tow our travel trailer and we've crossed the Northwest several times. It has more than enough power to haul our trailers and it's always a comfortable ride! We even hit a deer in a rural area and had very minimal damage to the vehicle - it kept us safe and sound!
Story
We camped at a famous lake in Oregon and loaded up our coffee, kayaks, floaties, and breakfast while it was still dark - we drove the Sequoia around the lake, while watching early morning wildlife and the sunrise, then picked out the best picnic spot on the shore and spend the entire day there! Perfect experience!
Pros
My favorite things about this vehicle are the very comfortable leather seats, not to mention being able to control rear seating from the driver's position - it helps out when little kids are in the car! I love the great visibility and multiple power outlets for charging our devices - so convenient!
Cons
Sometimes it's a little hard to see out the rear of the vehicle, so I'm installing an aftermarket back-up camera. Some of the fixtures are made with plastic and are apt to break if you're not careful - that said, it's a Toyota and made to last!
