This is a great car for both city driving and highway. Plenty of power and easy to handle. Living in San Francisco and dealing with a lot of out of town tourists you have to be able to react to slow and fast drivers. Like most cities with interstate traffic, a quick responsive vehicle is a must. The A4 with the 3.2L has the power to lane change and pass when needed. I also owned a 2012 S4 6MT and the less powered A4 is just as nimble... I didn't say "as powerful", but this little package gets the job done with fun. There are nice exterior modifications you can do to this car which really enhance the great design of the B7 series. I really enjoy this car and I think it's a great sedan for those who enjoy luxury and spirited driving. The only two things I dislike about the car is I wish ... (more)
Story
I drove the car to Canada with some friends one summer. This was a great experience.
Pros
Look and feel, design, speed, great for city and highway, good gas mileage.
Cons
Noise of engine, extremely expensive to fix - comes with most foreign manufacturers automobiles, pickup could be better.

2006 Audi A4 - I absolutely love driving it and feel good cruising down the street in it.

The car handles like a dream. It turns perfectly and is a comfortable ride all in all. It looks great and has a fantastic look. It makes me feel good driving it. However, once it hit 100,000 miles, things started slowly breaking down, and it is an expensive car to fix. One problem seems to lead to another, and it becomes expensive to maintain. The convertible was a lot of fun and one of my favorite parts of the car, but the window started separating in the rear, and there isn't an easy fix. The whole roof has to be replaced.
Story
I always loved putting the top down and cruising along the beach with my girlfriend. We had some great date nights and capped it off with the wind blowing in our hair.
Pros
The convertible made it the most enjoyable vehicle I've had. Heated seats allow you to drop the top even when it cools down a bit. It handles great and is quite a quick car.
Cons
Expensive to fix. Convertible roof started separating. Backseat is a bit tight, and it has a small trunk.
