The Audi A4 is an exceptional and beautiful car that attempts to compete with BMWÕs 300 series and arguably does a better job in modern times. I love the design of the car, the attention to detail and the addition of newer technologies that were just being introduced to other car companies at the time of my A4Õs production. When the car was at its newest, IÕm sure it performed beautifully. I would most definitely recommend it to people, but at its current state with the way previous owners treated it, I would argue the car has not held up well in terms of its physical beauty with its minor paint chips and dings to its engine problems, such as lack of power, the need to replace key parts every few months, and its awful fuel economy that makes going to the gas station a horrifying chore ... Story
Having fun attempting to drift it around the neighborhood during rainy days.
Pros
It's a luxury car, and although it's a decade old, it still feels like a luxury in the sense that with a few minor modifications to the radio I effectively have crisp and clear sound that only high-end cars could compare to today. The handling, while boat-like compared to more modern versions, still allows you to feel rather secure when making quick turns. I love the comfort that you feel inside the car with its very well-done leather seats and the climate controls being able to be so finely tuned allow you to feel very content during long drives especially. I appreciate the look of the bo... (more)
Cons
The parts and maintenance were very annoying and expensive to get done, and thatÕs the price of luxury in general, but especially older model Audis, which are known for oil leaks and lots of other maintenance issues. The ability to reach certain things like O2 sensors, which would be a breeze on older cars was made pointlessly difficult due to the way German cars are built and the way they organize the engine bay and bottom side of the car. Whenever there was a problem, at times, you could only hope to hear or see it as the engine light does not properly come on in some situations until th... (more)

The 2008 Audi A4 S-Line is an amazing car. The overall feeling of the car is safe and secure, from the solid door close to the feel on the road. With snow tires, the car feels like it can get through any weather the North East throws at it, completely secure and stable in the snow, sleet and ice. It is also a ton of fun to drive, with a great center of gravity and a turbo-charged engine which produces great pick up and go. The upgraded sound system makes any ride entertaining and leather seats are comfy, even for the long haul.
Story
My home used to be uphill -- no matter what direction I approached the house from. With previous cars, I would often get stuck and have to park my car at the bottom of a hill and come back for it later in the winter. The first winter I owned the Audi, I was able to just drive right home in one of the nastiest snow storms I've ever seen -- it was wonderful!
Pros
With the speed and sturdiness on the road, taking an on ramp at 65 is not a problem. Everything feels extremely well built. I'm never afraid to slam the door closed too hard. Lots of trunk space for a compact sedan, and the gas mileage is great, especially on the highway.
Cons
No Bluetooth connectivity, which is tough with hands-free phone laws becoming more prevalent. Requires premium fuel, which is expensive. No good way to hook up to play music from a phone. There is an awkward iPod dock in the glove box, but it's not convenient or easy to use.
