The 2007 Audi A6 Quattro has been a great car. I bought mine used with approximately 30,000 miles on it and then drove it another 100,000 miles. It’s a stylish car that still looks great, handles well, and the maintenance has been far less than I would have expected for a car with that many miles. One thing that always stands out to me is the cavernous trunk - I have hauled screen doors, bricks, plywood, and wood flooring it. It’s huge!
Story
I drove my Audi A6 home from the home improvement store so full of landscaping stones that is was practically riding on the axles.
Pros
Great looking interior, decent gas mileage, good performance, and an admirable maintenance track record.
Cons
The only major con to this car is that when you do have to have to do maintenance it is expensive.

It's a tank, a total tank.
Pros
I love the features I have. The built-in navigation (versus my A4, which needs a navigation CD to use the GPS) is a great help. The heated seats, both front and back, and the heated steering wheel, can't be beat in the winter. The adaptive headlights are a great, unique feature. But I think my favorite thing about the car is having side view auto-dimming mirrors. It's such a headache-saver at night and in bad weather conditions!
Cons
Unfortunately, the car is ridiculously expensive to service and repair.. For what the Audi mechanics tell me is no apparent reason, every two or three years my airbag light comes on. It has to do with the electrical connection/relay in the seatbelt mechanism-- and it costs about $1500 to fix. And the car can't pass inspection with the light on, so it's a mandatory repair even though it's not an actual safety problem. Another con, which has less to do with the car itself, is that I bought paint to match the car from Audi for any small dings or minor scratches. When I finally needed to use, ... (more)
