This is an awesome, comfortable car. I was a bit iffy about it at first because of the car's reputation. But afterward I came to realize that most of the things people have said we said by people who never actually owned a PT Cruiser. My previous car was a Dodge Neon, and as hard as it is to say, this is an upgrade. It feels reliable as well as comfortable.
Story
I have not had my PT Cruiser for very long, so most drives have been pretty mundane. However, the longest drive I've taken in it was to Santa Cruz (about 2 hours away). It was awesome to drive my car that long of a distance without it getting "tired."
Pros
The first thing that I loved about my PT Cruiser was the comfort. It feels and drives a lot like my previous Neon, but it is more comfortable and more solid. It feels reliable and I fully trust it to drive long distances, much more than I trusted my Neon. I also, of course, love the way that it looks. It is an odd looking car, especially for the time that it was released, but it really grows on you. It's plenty roomy, but it doesn't feel like a big car when I drive it.
Cons
I only have two complaints about my car. The first is that the gas mileage leave a lot to be desired. It really isn't a big car, and yet it has the gas efficiency of a much larger car. The same goes for the turn radius. Although it's not much larger than any other sedan or station wagon, it has a turn radius comparable to that of a truck. Also, it is admittedly kind of gutless when it comes to accelerating on the freeway.

The vehicle was an emergency purchase from my mother. As such, it had 100,000 miles on it when I bought it. It drove fine (for a while) and aesthetically, I could tolerate it, until I could afford something better.
Story
It has plenty of space to transport longboards.
Pros
It had a working, cold Air Conditioner, which is essential in Texas. It also had a working stereo system, with the exception of the CD Player, and a functioning Auxiliary input jack.
Cons
Shortly after purchase, preventative maintenance was required per the mileage, and despite taking care of this early, many of the items which had recently been replaced had to be fixed again. These included, the coolant system, a couple of belts and sensors.
