Great SUV
I bought the GMC Acadia and I am very impressed with it. This vehicle is a lot like a van with out looking like one. It looks like an SUV on the outside but feels more like a van on the inside. The gas mileage is the same as a van and gets around an average of 20 mpg. It is not as good as a car but much better than the big SUV's or truck. On the inside of the Acadia it feels roomy and there is good trunk space to store groceries or luggage. This is a mid SUV but has a third row seat and still has good room in the trunk. My favorite feature is in this vehicle the whole backseat can me lowered, just a small part of the backseat, or about 2/3rd can be lowered leaving enough room for one person to still sit in the back. This makes it very multi-functional. I like the remote start which makes it great in the winter. This vehicle is excellent for trips. It has the DVD player which is good for the kids, it is quiet while driving, and handles great. This vehicle has larger tires which makes it great in the snow and rain. Also the AWD makes it drive great in all kinds of conditions. The radio has a Bose system which makes the music sound great. I have had this vehicle 1 year and drove 20000 miles and have had no problems with it. This is a great value for the vehicle. If you like the usefulness a van but want the look of a SUV this is the best choice.

Avoid this year
I bought this vehicle so I would have more space for my family than I had in my sedan. I started having mechanical problems within a month or two and those problems have just continued. When I research these problems, I find that other owners of this model and year have experienced them as well. The car also has front corner blind spots due to the way the posts on both sides of the windshield are positioned, making it difficult to see other cars at right-angle corners.
