A Pleasant Surprise
I never expected an SUV with such a smooth ride. I can drive in pleasurable comfort no matter what the distance of my trip. Another feature that I love is the back support of the adjustable leather seats which can be preset for two drivers, so that you can switch back and forth with the touch of a button. I also love the individual seat heater controls for the front driver and passenger seats. The vehicle has a very spacious interior with captain's chairs in the middle and a bench seat in the back. Also, all of the back seats fold down for ample cargo capacity. The built-in navigation feature is very convenient and easy to use, and the back-up camera is an appreciated additional safety feature that warns you if you are about to back into anything or if automobile or pedestrian traffic is approaching from either side. Some other great safety features are the blind spot warning lights on each mirror, and the rearview mirror that automatically adjusts reflectiveness to reduce glare. Additionally, the automatic rear hatch raises and lowers with the touch of a button so there is no struggling to get it up or down. I have been pleasantly surprised by the features of this vehicle for a very reasonable price.

Sturdy, but not too techy
The Acadia is a very sturdy vehicle. It gets okay gas mileage compared to other SUVs in its class. I have not used it to tow anything but I know that it is capable of pulling a sizeable cargo. The V6 engine provides plenty of power for everyday use. The seats and interior are comfortable, but could be improved. I like the overall design of the interior, it is very sleek and modern. One thing that definitely could be improved is the technology going in to the car. You can definitely tell that GMC has not done much to improve the technology in the Acadia line since it was first introduced several years ago. Limited Bluetooth capabilities as well as an obviously old radio/stereo system definitely could use a more modern approach. Overall, the Acadia is a pleasant drive, the suspension rides quite smoothly and I would definitely recommend this vehicle to others willing to purchase one.
