I drive a 2011 GMC Acadia. Overall I like the vehicle design and concept, but it is not the best vehicle I have owned. Being a 2011 the technology features are slacking, but that is a given due to the year. Ever since I bought the vehicle there has been a hollow rattle in the front end of the vehicle that seems to have everyone confused. No one can seem to figure out what it is. I have had several parts replaced and it has still not fixed the hollow rattle coming from the front end.
Story
This vehicle has made our family trips so much easier. My kids love traveling down to our cabin at a close by lake and having a weekend get away. We have been able to pack twice as much as what we did before.
Pros
My GMC has a lot of room and for a family of five it is much needed! It drives smooth and is relatively quiet, besides the rattle. The vehicle is very easy to see out of, which is nice because there are not many blinds spots while driving. I love the backup camera. Another pro would be that it is very accessible. My kids have room to sit comfortably and we still have extra room for items that are traveling with us. My kids love that the back windows roll down.
Cons
There are several cons for this vehicle. The biggest con is just simply the fact that there is a hollow rattle in the front end of the vehicle that seems to not be able to be fixed. When something like that happens at 50,000 miles it is hard to not get upset over it. The speakers in the vehicle are not very easy to hear. The technology is not as up to date as some other vehicles of the same year. A major con for me as been the gas mileage, I have been getting horrible gas mileage.

I really like my vehicle. I haven't had many problems with it, and I haven't had to have a lot of maintenance or work done to it besides basic maintenance. I love that I have three rows, and I'm able to seat a lot of people.
Story
One memorable story I had with my car is being able to fit my kids and all my nieces and nephews in my car. We drove around and the kids had a blast singing songs and being able to ride all together. It's almost like a minivan.
Pros
There are three rows so I am able to seat a lot of people in the vehicle. It's convenient for my two (almost three) kids. I'm also able to tow things with my vehicle, which is helpful. I've had to tow our jet skis up north, and I've also towed a trailer to stores to pick up different items. I like that it isn't as big as a truck, but it has some towing capability, more than a basic car at least. I also love that mine has captain chairs. It makes for easier access to the backseat compared to having the bench seat in the middle.
Cons
The only negative is the gas mileage. I don't necessarily get the best gas mileage, but it's kind of to be expected with the size of the vehicle. Also, I wish I would have got the all-wheel drive instead of just front wheel. I live in a state with harsh winters so having all-wheel drive would have been more convenient.
