My 2002 GMC Envoy has been my pride and joy for a long time. I plan to celebrate our upcoming anniversary by taking a trip to see the country. I love when I can enjoy how smooth she handles, even with almost 300,000 miles. I look forward to the space my family and I have while riding in our Envoy. As long as I change the oil when it is time the vehicle is highly dependable. The transmission still works beautifully and the straight 6 engine runs with the elegance of a lady. When it comes to travelling, the GMC Envoy is up for the task. Space and a smooth ride are not the only pros, you also look good driving it. It is aesthetically pleasing and has a little height on most vehicles. Easy to see out of and minimal blind spots helps, too. The headlights seem to be dimmed over the years but... (more)
Story
I attached a statue/slash water fountain to top but did not realize it had water still in it. Hit the brakes at a light and water poured into the sunroof from the fountain. Luckily the interior is tough and it cleaned up easily.
Pros
My top favorite things about my vehicle are space it provides, tough upholstery, strong engine, smooth ride, good gas mileage, quiet from road noise, and most of all looks great! My favorite feature how great it handles when I am driving curvy, long roads. It is so graceful and does not care how long you want to drive. Never overheats and is affordable to fill it.
Cons
Had to replace fan on front of engine because it was malfunctioning and bogging engine down. The weather stripping in the doors tends to leave black marks if touched, but nothing serious.

I have had this vehicle for 15 years now and have put over 150k miles on it. I have bought two new vehicles since then and am still driving this vehicle around town for my work vehicle. I just cannot give it up. I will be really sad when I have to get rid of it and take her to the junkyard. The overall driving of the vehicle is great however the bumpers like to fall off and that has been happening for a long time now. I really wish that GM was still making the envoy because my wife and I would probably have gotten another one however we upgraded to a truck and car for cheaper than what a new Tahoe would cost.
Story
The best time I had in this vehicle is when I went hauling across a frozen river in this and the river ice broke and the vehicle fell through and managed to climb its way back out.
Pros
This was my first four door vehicle and it has been great hauling my friends and family around. It has got me across a river with the four wheel drive and got me to work in the snow many a time.
Cons
The only problem with this vehicle is that it appears the body may not have been built real well and built with plastic parts. The bumpers like to fall off and the back door has broken plastic parts as well.
